This is that secret place that no one knows about, you can order in advance and just pick up or get it out of the case. Place from the outside doesn't look like it has this jewel in it but the chicken is amazing, super highly recommended ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The chicken is great, but trying to call here is pointless. I have had trouble about 3/4 of the time trying to call in an order. I have twice seen where I was there to pick up chicken and the girl just doesn't answer the phone even with nobody in the store.

The biggest thing I find to round out all this, is if you reheat it, it stays tasting amazing and doesn't dry out too much. It's the chicken that doesn't need any additional season in the form of salt or pepper. Their hot sauce is the perfect pairing but honestly love this chicken when trying out my favourite hot sauces.
Anyone who votes down this place because they had to wait or there was low supply, you either get there on time, wait, or order ahead. Cause if you know, you know, Ralph's is amazing, local, Edmonton Fried Chicken.
It's simple it's chicken and spuds, and it's amazing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best convenience store fried chicken in Edmonton! This place is a gem, cheap smokes friendly staff, owner operator is a good guy! I will say they don’t have the best coffee or slushes but that’s not why you go to Ralph’s, you go for fried chicken and pop! Update: added pics, this batch was the freshest fried chicken I’ve ever had, super juicy, potato wedges seem to be getting bigger in size and portion, I won’t complain.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From Winnipeg to Edmonton we have enjoyed a large variety of fried chicken, and the fried chicken and wedges from Ralph’s are some of the best. Juicy chicken, even the breast which is often dry. Delicious seasoning. Endless crispy batter. The wedges were soft on the inside and crispy on the out. All perfect, and the price can not be beat anywhere in town.
Much better than the over-hyped, over-priced hipster joints!
The service was especially pleasant, friendly and prompt. Thanks so much. We will be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wanted to give a 1 star review, but I give credit where it's earned, they do have some RIDICULOUSLY good fried chicken
...when they cook and sell their recipe.
Beware, I've bought KFC from them on three separate occasions. Ralph's chicken is THAT good you know when you're not eating it!
You should be able to smell the fried chicken from a couple blocks away at lunchtime if they're cooking their own. If you don't, assume they're running the bootleg KFC depot and dine elsewhere.

Everything from the seasoning to the texture is a solid 10/10.
The potato wedges are also a must get.
