Great little community park just steps away from Swan Lake. Has a few different playgrounds for different ages, so kids from toddlers to teenagers will find something to do here. Also has a few different swing sets, some picnic tables, and a few benches. Bonus, it has a basketball court as well. The park was recently rebuilt so everything is fairly new. Only downside is it doesn't have a water fountain or a bathroom.

Great playground that meets needs for various ages. Plus a big grassy area to run around in. Only downside is that there is no bathroom facilities.

Very nice park. The street parking has some berry brushes so my kid had a bit of organic fruit snack after play time at the playground. Too bad there was no restroom.

I thought the play structures were great for The 2 and 4-year olds I had with me. There are plans to replace the equipment in the near future. Conveniently touches the Galloping Goose Trail. Big open fields and some places to pick blackberries!

The best banner wave over the road and so many friendly walkers to greet... Do the walk up Rainbow and look over the Sooke Hills and Olimpic Mountains. You'll take your out of town guests there to really appreciate the city we all call home

Central location next to a highway. Renovated a while ago. It offers an area for older kids(5-12) and an area for toddlers(2-5). A few picnic tables, a basketball court, and has a decent open grassy area. There are some trees that provide shades. The playground is not under shades or next to tall trees. PRO: If it rained earlier and had some good sun after, the playground usually dries up quickly. CON: Under direct sun exposure can get quite hot during warmer temperatures. Bring a hat and water for hydration! Tip: During hot summer days, near or after sunset is a good time to visit this park. BONUS TIP: It’s right next to a bike trail. I saw families who took advantages of this and have kids play here before they proceeded with their bike adventures. No public washroom. Just something for family with little children to consider.
