A	Allison Kwong on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here a few weeks ago for dinner with a friend. Tried a few of their cocktails and one of their mezcal specials. To be honest I never had mezcal and discovered its very smokey and not my thing! We ordered: Wild Mushroom Fajitas Corn Ribs Kabocha Squash Chilli Con Queso Grilled Octopus 24 hour Short Rib Corn Ribs were refreshing and flavourful. All dishes we ordered were a decent portion size but nothing stood out as amazing. The short rib texture was more like a Tenderloin over a typical short rib texture. Their Octopus is made by sous vide before grilling- very different from the typical grilled Italian or Spanish cooked Octopus that I'm used to, it changes the texture of it to a softer bite.

L	Lina Dinh on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mexican fine dining is probably the best way to describe this place for its more than average priced Mexican food. My boyfriend and I came here on a rainy Thursday evening so it was very quiet and intimate, which we really liked. We made reservations just in case because it's King St on a Thursday evening so it tends to get busy. My boyfriend really enjoyed his 24 hour short ribs and pork belly burnt ends whereas I really enjoyed my quesos (pillow like bread with a cheese like sauce). It was super delicious. The mushroom fajita was good, but I'm reminded that I never really enjoyed tortillas as much at restaurants because of grainy, flour texture. However the mushroom and sauces made up for it so I stuffed as much as I could into 2-3 tortillas so I don't have to eat the rest of the tortillas. The menu selection is small but it packs a lot of great food. Our server was very friendly and incredibly helpful with my vegan diet as she had already scoped out my OpenTable profile and saw that I was vegan so she was prepared to make some of her favourite vegan suggestions. That was a really nice touch to the service. We'd definitely come back again.
J	Julie Huang on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious flavour profiles for all of the food (reminds me of TexMex style) - each bite was a huge burst of flavour! Drinks were great as well. I just didn’t like the Broken Neon Hearts drink given the chipotle spice was too strong and overpowering.
K	Kate Waite on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The overall vibes were incredible; the decor was on point, and the music was funky. In terms of food and drinks, I have only compliments to give! I had the Broken Neon Hearts cocktail which blew me away, and the Adobo Chicken and Corn Ribs were excellent. If you have a sweet tooth, make sure to get the pineapple/coconut dessert (I can’t remember the name of it for the life of me, but trust me it was SO yummy). Service was solid; we had a trainee who was very attentive, and everyone we interacted with was welcoming. We will definitely be coming back!

A lot of shareable plates. Good vegetarian/ vegans options. And most importantly: happy hour on weeknights 4-6pm!

The design of the restaurant is very nice - love the lighting and furniture. As for the food, I ordered the charizo skillet which was much better than I expected. It was super flavourful and fresh. It had all kinds of ingredients in there, making it a great value and delicious. I also had the banana pancake for dessert. It was very sweet and well made. The portion size was just right. As for the service, it was the BEST I’ve had post-pandemic world. My server was Dino and he was very charming, passionate, knowledgeable of the menu and handsome. I’ll be back!
