Quinte Patient Transport Service moved my 97 year old Mother from the hospital to her apartment today and we were very happy with the excellent service Bev and Chad provided. They showed up on time, were very comforting to my Mom (who was in quite a bit of pain), gave Mom clear instructions as to what they were about to do and used some good old fashioned humour to put my Mom at ease. I would recommend these guys in a heartbeat and would use them again if needed. Thanks for the great job you did today.

Driver on the 401 giving the finger weaving in and out of traffic I hope you didn’t have a patient in the back. Worst driving etiquette I have ever seen in my 25 years of driving I will make sure myself and my family never have to deal with patient transfer. Called the office and spoke to the owner and all I got was β€œwhat do you want me to do about it?” Too bad I can’t give 0 stars

Fantastic service. Transfer fm hosp room to LTC room. Seamless transition. Driver & attending staff very accommodating. Vehicle was warm for the patient.

I have worked closely with this company and found them to be professional and knowledgeable. The owner Steve Andrews was wonderful when we dealt with him and would highly recommend this service to anyone in need, they have went above and beyond my expectations!

The gentleman who runs this business (Stephen Andrews) loves to sell stuff not working properly through his staff. I recently bought something that was claimed to work fine, when tried it didn’t work. I immediately messaged them and requested my money back. Over a week now and no response form the absent owner. I definitely wouldn’t trust them with a loved one if they don’t mind stiffing people! Not a professional way to run a business

Paid to have my mother transported from Amica in Whitby to Belmont in Belleville. It was stressed that this was a time sensitive transfer as a doctor and nurse would be on site to receive and assess mom at Belmont. At 10:30 am on the day of the transfer we learned that Quinte Patient Transfer had not shown up. They did not answer their phone or respond to numerous messages left on their answering service during the 2 hours which followed. A call to one of their competitors resulted in an immediate response with a unit dispatched. Mom arrived at Belmont in the late afternoon with great inconvenience to everyone because Quinte Patient Transfer failed to do their job. Quinte Patient Transfer never did return our calls or even offer an apology.

My Mother has many medical issues and, up until the past few weeks, we haven't had any problems using their services for her patient transfers. However the first incident occurred last week. When they told me that her wheelchair was too wide and that they would be unable to take her. I had not been told any width requirements on the phone. Because of this, she missed her MRI and we were still charged a cancelation fee. (Half of what the trip would have cost, ridiculous to a senior on a pention) Last week, I called to book three transfers for her chemo treatments - the 14th, 15th and 16th. At first, the lady who answered said she didn't know the price and I needed to call back. I explained that these transfers were medically necessary and that I would pay regardless. I then gave her my credit card information. Her chemo was scheduled for 9 am and by 7:30 am, no one had shown up. I called to ask about the delay and was told that there was no record of me booking the transfers. I explained that I had given my credit card information, but they refused to acknowledge their mistake & accused me of being dishonest and that I hadn't actually booked these appointments. By this point, both my mother and I were already angry and in tears. As you can imagine, this is an incredibly stressful time for all of us and Quinte made everything so much worse. Thankfully I called Pioneer Health Care (as the referred me to them) and they were absolutely wonderful. Travis calmed me down & arranged for a team to come right away and even allowed me to go in the vehicle with her, something that Quinte Patient Transfer refused to do. I am furious by the awful level of customer service we received from Quinte Patient Transfer and I hope no other family has to go through this. Medical treatments are distressing enough as it is, especially during these times and I felt there was absolutely no compassion extended towards us.
