★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am really sad that this daycare is closing. This daycare is run and manage by wonderful people who have been working for decades like almost 30 years. My 2 kids went here and I love, love the play-based education that the daycare has provided to my kids. Also, the daycare is all about non-profit because they believe that childcare should be affordable. The team tried to look for another place for daycare but due to rent inflation, the team decided not to continue because the childcare will not be affordable for parents. Also, I've seen how the teachers speak softly and gently to children who are not behaving. They nurture the kids like how I read the psychologist book. June 25, 2022 and the daycare since 1970s is closing. So sad to see the legacy is going to close the door...but the daycare's legacy will always be remembered. I wish all the childcare providers in this daycare goodluck. And big thank you very much for taking care the children in New Westies and surrounding place. Also, my kids are always very happy when I pick them up. They even asks on the weekend if they're attending the daycare. Queens Avenue Daycare since 1971-2022. :-(
