A water fountain built one year after she died as a memorial. On the fountain it says " In memory of Victoria the good. This monument is erected by the school children of Vancouver 1905." The fountain no longer works. It is made of stone and granite. It is located on Stanley Park drive across the rowing club and near the Robbie Burns statue.

Man I regret not taking pictures when I had the chance. It was a beautiful day last week and the view at the park was fantastic. Its definitely one of the places people need to go for natural beauty.

Tis a wee héritage treasure easily missed by most tourists on the fly. — à worthy historical pitstop a relic of Canada’s British colonial history ... and if you’re into historic follies & Victoriana — then so much more raison d’être. Photos taken late October 2019
