I could not walk any distance without support; I had difficulty getting in and out of bed without help; my hips were so sore it was very difficult to go from sitting to a standing position without help. I could not lift my left leg more 4 inches to get in and out of my walk-in shower. The pain was intense enough to interfere with getting a nights sleep. I was also taking from 2 to 6 Tylenol every day just to be able to do my daily meals and and the usual things to care for a household. I also would not drive my car - I always had a driver. In addition to my hips I also had lower back pain, which had been on-going for the last few years. During my first appointment Dr Alex examined and assessed me. Later that day I received a write-up of my assessment and some exercise to help with the pain. I started with appointments and after the first appointment I could feel an improvement. I had an appt two times a week to begin and then gradually I had longer time between appts. I had less pain and could move easier. With every appointment I continued to feel better. I started walking outside and continued my exercises. I have finished the 10 appts. I feel 100% better than I did. My goal to begin with was to be able to golf this summer. I have been to the driving range a few times. I think I’m ready for the golf course (at least 9 holes) I would recommend Dr Alex to anyone who is having hip and lower back issues. Joan ?
