I think New West can do better than this personally - there are too many dogs to count that live along Quayside and they should have a nicer functioning dog park!!

Not very well maintained but you don't really have very many options in the area aside from what's left of the little dog park across from new west station. My dog cut his paws twice from what we think was glass so keep an eye out.
A	Alex Kohli on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There's usually dogs of all sizes to play with, but it's just a gravel run that's often muddy so we come out pretty dirty. For those with small dogs there isn't a separate enclosure if you're worried about large dogs trampling your pup; however, we've only encountered friendly dogs there, so that shouldn't stop anyone from coming out.

It's a fenced off area like most dog parks and is on the waterfront so has a view of the fraser river, etc. If your in the area, and have a dog, it's worth checking it out.

The off leash park is a very decent size and the dog owners who I have met, have behave dogs and I haven't seen any violent dog during my visit. FYI owners who are not able to control your dog while you are at home or on the street with a leash, abstain from going to this location as the people who frequent this park made it very clear that if they see any aggressive behavior, they will ask the animals owner to remove his dog right away.
