★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Picked up a great ready to eat wrap sandwich on my way through town BUT.. Young lady at cash insisted that a day old small 3/4 full (so a really really small portion) 'penne with feta' container was marked down to a hand written $7.98, not, as was obvious to everyone else, $1.98. When i pointed out the correct price she behaved like I was trying to con her and unpleasantly answered that no, it was $7.98. That the $1.98 wasn't screaming obvious to her was really quite incredible. I left it there, obviously. Otherwise great wrap sandwich. Pretty well stocked store, as it was when I used to shop there regularly 25 years ago.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The sign "No excemptions" x2 on the door is VERY discriminatory. Knowing someone who has medical issues, covering their face is actually dangerous. Whose health does Pyms care about? This individuals (and many more) or just the fearful others. Btw, enough studies show that they offer very LITTLE protection against the minute size of any virus. Probably won't be supporting this store anymore. Sorry Pyms. I thought better of you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m medically exempt from wearing a mask and was not allowed to purchase any food or drink in the store. I was denied by the cashier and was asked to leave. Someone who has medical conditions, and needs sugar when it’s really low should NEVER be denied in a store no matter what! I had no choice but to use the pop machines outside of the store, but when I went to use them every pop in there was sold out!!
I’m very glad I was able to make it to Petersburg gas station where they actually allowed me to purchase something without discrimination.
I grew up in the town, people used to be nice. What happened?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would have given five stars but their apple butter sausages used to be our favourite and I think the have changed the recipe because since they made them 3 sausages in a pack instead of one large one that you cut yourself then don’t taste as good ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love this place. Always blown away at how much that pack into this store. They have all the essentials that you need and the staff are great, even offer carry out service if you need it. Prices are what you would expect at any other store so your not paying extra even thought it is so close and local. Thank you for all you do in serving this community.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been living in town for 12 years shopping here to support small businesses in town, when I entered to purchase one item staff confronted me in front of EVERYONE AND Said I needed a mask to be served, I explained I had a medical exemption letter from my dr. regarding masks and the continued to be belligerent telling me they do not accept those anymore! It a nice lady offered to take my item and money and pay for it for me while I stood there!
So they will take my money, just not directly from me!???
This is a direct case of discrimination against somebody with a Medical Disability!
I will be filing a case against them and they have lost my business FOR GOOD!! Good job Pym’s
