Place that your not going to encounter unless your paying a fine or going through the legal proceedings from a motor vehicle offence.

The problem with Brockville is that the OPP is there to issue ticket to travellers on 401 no matter what. Knowing that no one is local and very difficult to challenge the tickets, the Brockville 401 section has become notorious for Opp's writing tickets. Sad. Taxpayers money that supports fat pay and benefits of OPP officers, are used against taxpayers themselves. It is a shame to Brockville.

Who doesn't love paying fines? I love the fact that they mail your suspension notice on the day so you wind up driving for several days without a license before receiving it in the mail! It's especially great is you get pulled over in the intreim so you can get a lift in a tow truck. Then to top it off you get a lovely $198 licence reinstatement fee! Crazy thing is that you can attempt to pay fines you know are due but their computer systems don't seem to show your them leading you to believe your sister really did pay that ticket she promised to pay, that is until your license is suspended. $198 is cheap. I don't get why it's not $598 or what the hell, $5,890. I mean it's about as much effort as replacing a lost license at $10. Someone else can get a parking ticket or photo radar in your car and you've got 15 days to pay. Having consulted for the government I can tell you they don't pay invoices that quickly. If they really wanted the money they'd mail you something 2 weeks prior and give people a reasonable about of time to pay. Don't get me started on the fact that armed police are issuing tickets. Police state??
