Awful debt collectors with no morals integrity or respect, can't talk to them without them being rude no point trying to get your point across because they don't listen and hang up. They behave like children

The owners and the people working there are terribly unorganized. They are not honest with their statements. I've been contacted by three different people about a matter that is a miscommunication on their end. They have yelled at me and threatened me on numerous occasions, as well as hangup on me during a phone call, which I find very adolescent.

Constant harassment and threatening to put a claim against my credit over a gym membership I both cancelled and stopped going to 4 years ago. They are coming after me for $4000 lol. Said I was horrible person, a bad father and have no reason to live if I didn’t pay.

Worst employees I have ever witnessed. They act like children with no evidence of any of their cases and no respect for people. Such an embarrassing collections center that harass you , but they will hang up on you as soon as you catch them in a lie. What a joke. ** Unfortunately when I did try to get in contact with the owner I was not allowed to and was hung up on and the last call I was hung up on because I told her she was harassing me ** *I have hung up once because I was called at work and clearly don't have time to listen to ridiculous nonsense*

Robert gave out my account information to someone else that wasnt even on the account (breach of privacy and confidentiality) the individual recorded the interaction and you can actually listen to both of them arguing like kids over the account. Robert was explaining to the individual about missed payment dates, gym membership contract information an even threatening to put refusal of payment on the account....Now how can you do all this without the account holders permission? Did I say I wasnt going to pay? Oh wait WE HAVE NEVER TALKED! I have never ever talked to Robert or prolegal in my life! How can you argue with someone who isnt even on the account? Wouldnt the correct response be " unfortunately I cannot give any information do to the LAW!!! but no you wanted to be the man and talk about my PERSONAL account. The bottom line is I did not give Robert permission to disclose any information of mine period! Robert had no right to disclose any information because it's the LAW! the only name on the account as ROBERT stated numerous times during the 7 minute conversation in the recording is mine...like how do you argue for 7 minutes over an account you have no permission talking about. When I played the recording for Consumer Protection Ontario the response was "And this is the General Manager arguing with someone who has zero business with the account yet giving him all the information oh dear". I have contacted the establishment in which the debt is owed and it was just a big misunderstand on both sides, we are currently trying to find other options to handle the matter. Please people if you have had any issue with this company do not continue to argue respectfully hang up and please contact consumer protection Ontario, ministry of government and consumer services and they will help you start the process as I've started my process.

Dealt with your Oshawa location, I have never experienced such poor customer service. There is zero lack of empathy from your representatives, Rita and Debbie. Tried to ask questions about son account to better understand the situation and was rudely told that the deal they originally negotiated was off the table and file was going to get reported "NOW"....and they hung up. Very sad that the manager of the location, Debbie expressed that we were wasting her time on the original call, yet again trying to understand the process and willing to pay the debt. I do understand situations come up and debt needs to be recovered however given the "PANDEMIC" and being laid off, and attending college...there is absolutely no need for the bullying we experienced today.....NO WORKING WITH THESE PEOPLE WHAT SO EVER!!!!!!

I got screwed over by Durham ultimate fitness. That place is sleazy and charged my account for two years before sending me to collections. Fortunately it went to Prolegal. Listen everyone. Take it from me... my account was in collections for 5 years. Worst decision of my life to leave it that long but Robert is a reasonable guy. Sit down LISTEN and talk to him and he'll help you out as best as he can.

I was taken to this company by a gym scam from Durham Ultimate Fitness. I was in a severe accident and called to cancel my account with them and they sent me to collections after lying to me constantly over he phone. When I called prolegal to explain my situation in multiple occasions, I've been called out, lied too, no one would listen to me or even work with me and I have received threats from a female employee about how my life with be ruined and my credit will be destroyed by them. I called again several months later to be told that I'm a liar and they won't work with me. It's absolutely heart breaking and I KNOW the gym sets this up with the employees of pro legal to emotionally beat us up after the gym has scammed you. They took me for 18 month for something I never got to use due to being crippled. Disgusting combo duo.
