Shout out to David! He is very knowledgeable, listens to you and designs a program tailored to you. My son recommended David and I have never looked back. I once said "I cannot do that" he said I won't get you to do that if I didn't think you can do it! David is very personable, easy to talk to and let him know what your body is saying and he takes the time to assess the situation and tries different work out routines. I'm more confident in the activities that David has taught me and now I'm corportating in my daily gym routine. I look forwarded to my weekly fascial stretch session after the end of my work week. I feel relaxed and stress free. The best part is that he takes on ICBC claims and all I have to do is focus on my recovery! You will not be disappointment. 5 star hand down.

David is very caring and professional. He has outstanding knowledge of human anatomy, fitness, and the joints and muscles. Through his stretching therapy, he helped me recover from a shoulder injury and regain the range of motion that I had lost. I am very grateful for his help and advice for fitness and strength, as well as recovering from injury. I would definitely recommend seeing him.

David's been a great trainer to work with for the past year. I would consider myself a novice when we had started, but now I am very comfortable with the workouts. He is also able to modify exercises to accommodate personal physical restrictions. David is friendly, outgoing, and professional.

After feeling defeated trying physiotherapy, seeing a sports medicine physician, and wearing uncomfortable knee braces to play badminton, I came to David for Kinesiology services regarding my right knee pain (or patellofemoral pain syndrome, PFPS) from playing badminton, and to increase overall strength as well. During the assessment, David pointed out that I have a beyond-normal range right hip internal rotation, which he suspects may be contributing to my knee pain because my right hip is 'unstable'. With this information, it made so much sense now that I would get knee pain from playing badminton as a right-handed player due to the constant loading of my right leg, possibly with my knee caving in (from an abnormal range of hip internal rotation). In my sessions, he focused on strengthening and stabilizing my hips as well as focusing on single leg exercises to train proper deceleration control. I'm also very pleased with David's interpersonal skills; he always asks me how I'm doing before each session and tailors the exercises and intensity of the program for that day according to my energy levels. I also never feel bored training with David - he seems to always have something funny or interesting to talk about which makes training even more fun! I also would recommend giving his Fascial Stretch Therapy a try. The first time I mentioned about feeling my right hip joint as jammed or tight in one of my Kinesiology sessions, David performed a few stretches on my hip joints prior to the start of training. He mentioned FST could help me with my symptoms. At first I was a little skeptical myself, but after a one-hour session, I can definitely say I felt an improvement right away and my hips were more aligned after this one FST session than seeing my chiropractor. All this to say, if you're looking for a Kinesiologist in Richmond, I highly recommend David!

I'm a senior. I went to David Kemp for mobility & balance issues, dropped shoulder, weak left side from mini stroke, knee pain, my irregular gait and overall stiffness. After just one Fascia Stretching treatment I noticed a huge improvement in all of the above. I was absolutely amazed! After just three treatments I feel younger and lighter and may be able to play badminton again. I am well again! Don't hesitate! Go & see David for any physical issues you have. He is a wonder!

I have had FST sessions with David to help with my sciatic pain, and I was pleasantly surprised how great I felt physically and mentally after the sessions. My body and mind feels really well taken care of after the stretch techniques he uses. I used to go to physio in the past, and cancelled my physio sessions after feeling the benefits of FST. I was also really surprised how relaxing I felt where I had a great nights sleep (instead of being kept up by bad dreams) which is really rare for me. Definitely recommend this 1000%!
