About Pro Star Productions

SHERMAN KALUN CHAO

Sherman has over 25 years experience with professional production services. He is one of few Canadians SOUND ENGINEERS, who graduated from the prestigious Audio Visual and Lighting Association of New York by completing the International Sound Engineering program. Sherman had also worked at Universal studio's for 2 years for his practicum as the head Sound Engineer!

Sherman has traveled around the world with his production service. He has worked with artists like, Taylor Swift. Avril Lavigne, Britney Spears and Journey to name a few. Sherman has been the Chief Sound Engineer at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas for numerous performances. Sherman has been based in Calgary most of his life.

Sherman has also traveled the world 7 times with his career mixing live sound for numerous bands! He enjoyed every single second of it!

We were lucky enough to get a Shania Twain tribute band to play the stage for us. Sherman and his team at the time were hired for event production. Not only did Sherman give us a discounted price on his service's he also gave us the best sound we have ever had at our events. Before we met Sherman we use to use another un reliable company that would never go the extra mile for us. Well when Sherman said to me that him and his team will give us more then we asked for he was right! They not only gave us more then what we asked for but he went above and beyond expectations. I was asked for years after that by our local President (now retired) to only hire Sherman and his team so we signed a 5 year contract where Sherman and his team at the time were to do all of our events. I have retired since the last event we did with Sherman & now Pro Star Productions 6 years ago. I will ever only use Pro Star Productions for my production needs!
