Not a place to stay in the winter, has a steep grade going into the camp ground, the do absolutely no road maintenance,.road is a solid sheet of ice and a totally dangerous to anyone Ina vehicle or on foot.personelly I think this place should be shut down or forced to at least sand the access.stagf here could careless about there customers health ,as I took a bad fall trying to walk out of camp ground I almost broke my hip and was completely brushed off like I didn't exit.cant believe they are eve allowed to operate a business.

Definitely more an RV park than a campground but perfect if you are looking for an overnighter post/pre ferry. The unserviced sites for vans were pretty grim. But the tenting area at least had a shelter.. Though no bear cache. Bathrooms definitely could do with some more love but staff super friendly

Unfortunately this park has been neglected for care. Very difficult to get parked with concrete barriers to get around and the nearness of other vehicles. . The creosote timbers used as edging are smelly and unhealthy to breath in the fumes. Overall to much junk around. Not what you would expect for a pricey camp. However the hostess was pleasant and welcoming.

Terrible. Avoid. No hot water. No wifi. Dirty bathrooms. If you must stay there, ask if facilities ACTUALLY work. We paid full $28 price for a tent camp site. It was in spongey, soaking grass by a swamp. Worse, though was the showers. Got in, no hooks/shelves, nothing to put belongings on. Turned on water, zero hot. Freezing cold. No signs to tell you this in advance of getting cold and wet. And the wifi does not work. At all. Anywhere. They said β€œit doesn’t work well with phones.” This is 2021 β€” phones are what everybody uses. The bathrooms were unclean, stalls missing toilet paper, broken stall locks, etc. Pair of other riders on two Harleys with tiny trailers took a RV spot while we were there. It had electricity, but they were not going to use any. Super close to neighbours, with no shrubs or trees separating. Was charged $100 for the night. Absolutely worst campground experience I have ever had. Asked if they felt it was fair to charge full price for zero benefit, answered β€œyou’ll have to ask the owners” who were unavailable. The staff was pleasant enough, but this all comes down to atrocious management.

Worst municipal campground we have stayed in this summer. Dirty and poorly kept. Prince Rupert should look to other communities, such as Terrace to see how to provide a welcoming and clean place for visitors. We wont be back.

Great location very close to the cbd and ferries. However the sites are very small . we were there for three nights and no cleaning was done in the washrooms. the roads are in complete disrepair. it rained quite a bit and everything turned to mud. If you need a place for one night it would be ok . But its the best location around.

We stayed here for nine days, end of June 2021. The people were friendly. The office staff were great. They had the right fishing lures in stock. We were in a class A motor home. All the hook up worked and were in good repair. This is a RV campground not a 5 star resort. I will be happy to stay here again!!!!!!!

Do not go here if you get avoid it. Very dirty. Picnic tables were scarce and the ones that were there were in the worst condition I've ever seen. Some actually had nails sticking out the top. Garbage all over the campground as well as piles of wood from something fallen down, and overflowing garbage bin. Office staff were not very helpful and didn't seem to care about concerns we had. Over priced as well at $50 per night.
