So this morning i observed two ladies drawing blood at the lab. One blonde nice lady. The other dark hair looked annoyed with job. I felt her been negitive i thought to myself. I dont want her drawing blood. I wished to get the other nice lady. Well my number landed on hers, The mean rude lady. So i go in and im answering her questions then i repeat myself to her as she asks me. She seemed to have an attitude also. So she roughly pokes the needle in fast intentionally and gathers her blood. Quickly and roughly tapes the elastic off then returns to her com. So i get up and ask is that all? She replies yes so i leave. And she adds with her attitude. Your welcome.

I mean, for a hospital in a small town it's kind of exactly what you'd expect. If you have something serious wrong with you they just might not have the equipment to help you here. My grandparents were transferred to Vancouver to help with their conditions - my grandpa had liver failure and my grandma was diagnosed with cancer around the same time.

Completely unprofessional. My elderly father was transferred to this hospital from Terrace to see a hip specialist. I phone to see if I can speak to my dad after his procedure on his hip. The surly nurse informs me that I cannot speak to him because they do not have a portable phone (what?) and unless my dad can walk to the phone, she can't help me. He just had a hip fracture, he cannot walk to the phone! Just disgusting.

Hospital itself is what you'd expect in this dump far from civilization - which means they can barely do the basic things. The interesting thing about this place isn't even the hospital, but the fact that it's actually a social club where everyone hangs out, talks as loudly as humanly possible, and leaves their trash in a place that you thought was for the sick and injured. So next time you're in an emergency, come hang out and socialize with the club! They talk so loud, you won't miss anything, and random people love to come up and blabber nonsense at you. It's great when you feel miserable!

The Emergency department at this hospital is the worst I have ever dealt with. They discharge an 88 year old woman at 9:00 at night that has been there since 11:00 am after a car accident. They didn’t feed her at all, ignored the requests of the son and daughter to speak with attending Physician. When calling after the facts of her being discharged, face with an arrogant male nurse who hid his identity behind the phone and spewed a plethora of miss information in hopes of getting me off the phone. Who runs this hospital! I sure know is paying for this horrible service.

5 star service at Prince Rupert Social Club. The blankets were warm, but not as warm as Nurse RanviΓ©r's care. I was even given complimentary ice cream with a popsicle stick. Don't get this kind of personal touch at Mills Memorial.

I won’t even give one star to this hospital. I mean seriously they make you wait for 2-3 hours per visit. I’ve been in hospital two days ago they made me wait for almost 3 hours and first they called me after 30 minutes and checked my Blood pressure only and asked me few questions. And they sent me to waiting area and told me to wait after 1.30 hours someone showed up and asked me few questions related my health and told me I could have PCOS and asked me if I have family doctor. I seriously don’t have any family doctor and they told me call in clinics and find family doctor for myself. I literally called in all clinics so I can find a family doctor. No one was accepting new patient at all. So called back in hospital and asked what do I do now since nobody’s accepting new patient. They told me to come in to Hospital and will figure out what they can do for me. I went to hospital today and waited for 3.30 hours and they did nothing and told me to wait for atleast 5 months in order to get ultrasound done. For blood work they told me to wait 3-4 weeks. I have a question about if something is really wrong with me who will be responsible and what if it’s too late when I get diagnosed with any serious problem.

Don't get sick here. No functional toilets in ER or waiting room. Told to pee in broken toilet bowl filled with other pee. OMG. Nurse (?) not in scrubs treating open wounds, her grey sweatpants and sweatshirt hanging over blood on the floor. No nurse or doctor came to our ER room. After a few hours, we walked out. Felt like Central America.... Rough, really rough
