A safe space to access knowledge and resources for minority gender and/or sexuality people of Edmonton. The Pride Centre of Edmonton offers, among other services, free therapy sessions with trained councillors, a number of support and social groups, a queer literature library, and open non-judging safe space. This is a good place for any queer or questioning person to seek understanding and acceptance. The pride centre is also open to straight and cis allies who wish to have a better understanding of the challenges facing gender and sexual minority people, and how to help overcome them. If you are in need of help due to violence or discrimination, please contact the pride centre. They can direct you to appropriate help hot lines, shelters, and other resources.

An excellent place to go if you want to feel safe, and affirmed. They have lots of resources and cool programs to hang out at, and you can go and just chill. There's an also drop-in counselling on Tuesdays and Thursdays, as well as a partner who works with the Edmonton Mennonite Centre for Newcomers, who works with immigrants and refugees- specifically LGBTQ.

Pride Centre is a safe, judge free zone. The staff are all friendly and super helpful and make visiting there simply a pleasure. The staff are trained to handle almost any situation you may need assistance with and what they are not equipped to handle will work hard to find you resources they can refer you to that can help.

They are a monumental support in my life. I really hope that they can work out their schedule, because they are somewhat limited at the moment. I usually go there on a daily basis and all of my interactions with the workers has been positive. I hope to see this place open again. ?

Spacious, safe environment with kind, inclusive, diverse group of volunteers; went here for chest-binder exchange program, which is free for those in need! Those with mobility concerns: there is an elevator that requires staff assistance, so call ahead.
