Here’s a brief explanation of how to travel to Press Lake Camp:
If you are entering from the US and crossing the border at Pigeon River (Grand Portage), travel north on highway 61 for approximately 30 miles. Turn left onto highway 130 to detour the city of Thunder Bay. 130 will bring you out on highway 11/17 west of the city. Follow this highway and then hwy 17 west to Ignace. At Ignace take hwy 599 north approximately 32 miles until you see the sign for Press Lake Camp. Turn left onto the Valora road and follow that road 16 miles to our camp.
