★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Why doesn’t a park in Richmond hill have a free parking? It is 5 dollars per hour to enjoy the nature there and take a walk around the lake... it used to be free but now you have to pay. Very disappointing to pay to enjoy nature in your own town. If it was cheaper to support the community it would be okay but 5 bucks for an hour is very expensive amount to spend every time you come here. Otherwise the lake and view is stunning! I live within 10 km of this lake but my address is not considered in Richmond hill... i’m not sure why that means I have to pay that much. People need parking to be free in the public parks or AT LEAST affordable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ City of Richmond hill should be ashamed of itself for robbing people with parking fees, even during pandemic. $5 an hour parking by a man make lake is ridiculous. The equally greedy city of Ajax charge $20 for a whole day on lake front, but it's at least lake Ontario. If you don't want people from Toronto to go to your city, please also don't expect us to go to your restaurants and business
