Prairie Sun Solar is Saskatchewan based Canadian solar company. We have installed well over 3000 solar panels, passed over a hundred SaskPower electrical inspections and impress every customer we work with our professionalism. We provide each customer a professional experience from the initial meeting with Brenden, our design Engineer and Red Seal Journeyman Roofer, to the expert installation by Dylan, our Red Seal Journeyman Electrician. Both of us are on site during the installation process. We cover every aspect of your solar installation in house to ensure the highest standards of quality workmanship. We promise a clean solar installation and we deliver on that promise, leaving our customers satifisfied every single time.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and answered all my questions. I also appreciate the rush they put on this installation including the SaskPower and gas hookup visits. They had it installed, connected, and activated within 4 days of paying the deposit. Would strongly recommend this company for your standby generator needs!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Last summer (2019) we signed up for SaskPower's net metering program through Prairie Sun. They were absolutely excellent - they did most of the paperwork, scheduled the meter switchout with SPC, the total installation was done ahead of schedule and on budget. They added an extra outlet for the system's WiFi router at no charge. This was probably the best business transaction I have ever made.

From the very beginning the team provided the highest levels of customer service. Brenden was very thorough in determining what we were looking for, but more importantly was always prompt with his replies and communication. They even offered to help us complete the complex federal grant paperwork.
They showed tremendous amount of patience as we changed the scope of work several times and asked a lot of questions over several months. Once the materials arrived, Dylan and his crew took over and it was seamless. The speed and efficiency that they performed the job was great and everything went as planned. A crew of 4 people stayed until 9pm one night to change over the power, so that we were up and running with no issues in the morning.
They looked after our building while working here, were very polite, and installed everything very professionally and cleaned up so well, that if it weren't for the panels on the roof you wouldn't even have known they were there. We'd definitely recommend them to anyone looking to install solar.

Brenden from the moment I reached out to you, you guided me through the process of solar installation. You answered all my questions and designed a system that will meet my needs today and provide value long into the future. You made sure the system was tailored to my family. You provided me the option to do a portion of the install myself and save some money. Brenden you even came out to the house and showed me step by step how to install the flashings and railings.
Dylan you professionalism and tidiness impressed me to no end. The wiring and the inverter installation is second to none. I am so pleased with your work. I want to thank you for helping me install the panels and finishing the job.

We've added the monitoring apps & had our final inspection. Sask Power did the meter switch in minutes and we're already seeing the benefits. We're looking forward to our next step with you--installation of the battery backup & charging system. (The Death Star will be fully operational, as scheduled. The Emperor will be pleased.?).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had solar installed this summer, and they were excellent to deal with during the entire process. Very friendly and professional, and they helped us understand the benefits of the system, and what was the best fit.
Overall, the system was very reasonably priced, and my father also had the same system installed on his house.
They were so great to deal with, and we loved seeing the benefits so much, that we added some additional panels before the end of the Summer to maximize our benefits and savings. So, we ended up using them 3 times!
Highly recommend!
