For July’s Dog of The Month, we are headed back to the pool where this young girl is making quite a splash!

One of the most popular and easily recognizable breeds whose beauty is outdone only by their abilities and versatility in the dog sport world.

Who hasn’t admired their spots before? Or seen the Disney classic about 101 of them?

That’s right… our dog of the month is a beautiful Dalmatian named Lilo… let’s get to know her just a little bit better!

Lilo, formally known as Echoview N Yensid’s Blue Suede Shoes, a Valentine’s Day baby (born February 14th, 2020)

she is 2 years old and just getting her paws wet in a variety of dog sports. We are told she is a big goofball at home and loves working to make her dad happy.

She currently holds a Novice Trick Dog title and is working on her Championship in conformation,

she is hopeful to get that finished this coming fall so she has more time for her most favourite activity Dock Diving!

Dock Diving is where Lilo shines the brightest!

She started dock diving in 2020 and attended her first NADD competition when she wasn’t even a year old.

In the 2021 NADD season, Lilo earned her Dock Junior title starting with a humble 12’6” jump.

In 2022, she has come back and taken the dock by storm earning her Dock Senior Title and now edging closer to her Master Title with a personal best of 20’6”! Way to go Team Lilo!

As noteworthy as her distance jumping is, Lilo has set a couple impressive records in the NADD game of Hydrodash.

The game of Hydrodash is a timed event in which the dog must jump off the dock, race down the pool to remove a toy hanging at the 37-foot mark and race back to the 10-foot mark.

Lilo was the first female Dalmatian in North America and the first Dalmatian in Canada to earn a Hydrodash title with NADD!

Lilo holds a HDJ title, Hydrodash Junior, and is on her way to her HDS title with a new personal best of 16.3 seconds.

The team at Prairie Dog Sports couldn’t be prouder that Lilo has earned these notable achievements in our pool!
