★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is great! We had a wide range of beers and surprisingly ALL were excellent, that never happens. Staff were friendly and helpful, the room is warm & cozy with a casual feel (good lighting) and they were playing great music...hello Talking Heads! And I love that they support local artists on their walls. Ode to Citra Pale Ale and Cumulus Lupulus Session Ale enough said!

I'd like to be able to say I loved the beer, but I can't. Citra pale ale was a good try, but when it comes to IPAs, I've been spoiled by Bridge and others.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We loved it! Great location in the brew district. Southern Belle was amazing. Great service, dogs in the lobby (who doesn't like that?) and excellent attention. We'll be back when we have more time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is safe to say that Powell Brewery is a well-known player on Vancouver's craft beer scene. So it was nice to visit their tasting room. The tasting room is pretty small; however, it has that nice cozy feel to it which I liked. I think we were pretty lucky to get seats. The member of staff was amiable, and service was quick. Beers are solid, and you can tell lots of attention and expertise goes into its creation. My favorites are Old Jalopy and Lazy D'Haze. And the place is dog-friendly, so we got a chance to hang out with a cool dog — nothing to complain about.
