Played here for the 1st time after hearing about the renovations. The new holes by the water are great. Loved the views of the lake.

Its now a housing development with the remains of what used to be a decent course. There still trying to cram more houses around it, they will out number the trees when its all said and done. Perhaps it will look nicer once the housing is finished, new trees are planted and they've had 35 years to grow in.

For the price I paid, it’s really hard to beat this course. I love the layout with half the holes on the north side of the tracks, and the rest along the lake. Some of the holes made me feel like I was playing a much more expensive course. Certain holes had incredible views of the lake, and imposed quite a challenge, especially 6 through 13. The staff was really kind and helpful, and the carts were very clean. Only thing I’d say is that the course is a little bit difficult to follow. I wish they had more signs to direct you to the next hole. I wasted a bit too much time trying to figure out which tee box was which. The first 3 holes felt like they were completely different from the rest of the course. They didn’t seem quite as nice as some of the other holes. And of course this is 16 instead of 18, I know they’re renovating the course, but I like being able to play full 18. Otherwise beautiful course and I will definitely come again.

Played course April 5th 2021. Positives Course was in good condition. Layout was relatively easy to follow Course with new holes is still both a challenge and fun! Greens fast & hard to read... yes I see this as a positive! Driving range in very good condition Scorecard well laid out. Course is walkable, but the bridge is a climb! Course has spent a lot of money on upgrades and it shows! Negatives Could not use watch or phone GPS as the holes had changed that much. Apparently this will be fixed in the summer. Not enough distance markers so a lot of guess work as to how far one has to go. Not enough port-a-potty’s which is an issue as #9 does not end near clubhouse. The group in front of us had carts, (we walked) but on last 4 holes played VERY slowly. My round took just over 5 hours! With no middle of round break. Hoping to go back again later in season!

The newly renovated 18 holes are amazing, you get some parkland style holes, links style and then ending with a few valley holes, a great combination and on every hole you get a very good view of Lake Ontario. Greens are very true and roll well, conditions for a newly renovated course are good and will only continue to improve. Look forward to the new club house opening to make the 19th hole even more enjoyable. Good job to staff on and off the course.

This place is a real hidden gem, the greens are of pga quality, everything seemed very lush, I did play after a rain storm though, but the drainage was pretty good. The track is neat, play from the tips your first time! Great views of lake Ontario, overall cool design, I wouldn't walk it though, there are some holes that go back n forth and some tee blocks are very spread out. Its very confusing to get to your first time, good luck!!

Unbelievable golf course. Incredible Lake views once you cross the bridge. It definitely had a feeling like you were down south. It is certainly a challenging course, with some tough greens. I would say the value is fair. I wish we had booked our Sunday round here as well, as you just can't beat the scenery and atmosphere that this course had. Will be back some day for sure.

Two negative comments to start: the new greens are as unforgiving as you’ll ever find. If the greens crew can get them to soften up to receive a ball, they’ll be laughing. Secondly, we didn’t see the beverage cart until the back nine. With no clubhouse access during your round, it’s a long time to go without refreshments. The positives: I would say it would be hard pressed to find a golf course with better views of Lake Ontario and the shoreline anywhere along the north or south shores. Set stop the cliffs, the course offers great visibility east and west throughout the round. We were lucky to have a gorgeous day to play a round. The speed of play was suitable and enjoyable. Once the new clubhouse is open and the organization cleans up the mess from the old holes, this will be a course people will want to come play. Well done.
