β β β β β Great little place. First time being there and I'd definitely go back. Lots of history to read up on. Very interesting if your into this kind of stuff. Lots of cool things to explore around Port Dover itself too.

β β β β β I could not be more amazed at the history of Port Dover and their fishing contribution. I personally found it very interesting. This is a nice way to spend time walking around the artifacts learning about the heros of Lake Erie who indured the Great Lake weather. Bravery is all I can say about those brave souls that risk their lives on the open water.??

β β β β β This museum is a great place to come on a weekend if youβre in the Port Dover area. Although it appears small, do not be fooled. From the floor to the ceiling, artifacts and antiquities related to Port Dover and the Great Lakes are displayed. There is also a great exhibit from the shipwreck and former steamship βAtlanticβ which was found by a local diver. That exhibit has many cool artifacts from the 1850s. Visitors of all ages can come and have fun learning about history. There is also a gift shop too with books and other items.
