Poor Michael's offers fine quality Global Crafts with an emphasis on handmade items. We personally travel overseas to hand select work from artisans, small family run businesses and organizations. We buy what we love, hoping that our friends and customers will love it too! They have not only a phenomenal selection of books, magazines, and other literature (both new, old, and antique), but they also have a great vinyl selection and many interesting crafts, handiworks, and clothing from both local and worldwide sources. Check out the 2 travel books the owners published as well - very cool stories and pictures from their adventures!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great used bookstore. Each time I have visited I have found a rare printing of a book I have wanted in my collection. This last visit I found a rare first printing of a science fiction book from more than 25 years previous.
Great baked desserts and coffees. Now they are licensed so this place might actually be a slice of heaven hiding in rural Manitoba.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is my favourute spot to look at books, buy some great placemats and napkins, two more birds for the yard and great Chai! Always friendly and pleasant, the staff are ways helpful. We enjoyed our visit again! I truly wish there was somewhere like this near Banff or Jasper Now home to Alberta. We will be back as we have family in the area!

Amazing atmosphere and visually stunning. Picked up some great books and some art, and then we went back the next day for more! Love this place so much!
