About Ponoka Community Church
Pastor Tyler began serving Ponoka Community Church in Sept 2020. After graduating from Ambrose University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Ministry degree, he spent the next 8 years working in the autobody trade. It was 8 years of waiting on God, trusting and praying that God would one day provide him with a job as a pastor. And all those years of waiting have finally paid off!
Tyler is passionate about preaching and teaching the Word of God, and walking alongside people as they grow in their faith and enter into a deeper relationship with God. He is excited to see what God has in store for Ponoka and the rest of Central Alberta!

My husband and I have been looking for a church that we could call our own and feel like a big family. This was that church. There is no judgement as you walk in the door..only love and people who actually want to know you for you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pastor Ryan at the Ponoka Community Church has been a blessing to myself, my family, and our community. He is very engaging and is a great leader. His sermons speak in depth, and are easy to digest. Because of the amazingly warm atmosphere and welcoming environment of Ponoka Community Church, I have found myself looking forward to Sunday's gatherings.
Ponoka Community Church is a place in which one can develop a great fellowship; not only in Christ, but with members of our community. The Church has a great program for the kids, and runs a great Youth program every Friday night, called Youth180, for the kids who aren't quite old enough for a typical teenaged Youth Group.
Pastor Ryan helped me to become closer to God through his discipleship and mentorship, and has given me the tools necessary to be the best that I can be.
