★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We called Ben from Polite Pets for some personalized dog training when we adopted our Gemma from Darcy Arc shelter. He came highly recommended.
Ben was very professional and understanding as well as patient with both Gemma and with us with all of our questions.
He was very adaptable to changing situations with our schedule and the weather for outdoor training.
Follow up emails with enrichment activities and training always provided.
Ben uses reward based training and is patient with Gemma and let’s her progress at her own pace. We appreciate that as it allowed Gemma to build confidence.
We also recently started reactive rover classes with Ben and took Gemma to his stay and play sessions
I would highly recommend Ben at polite pets for your training needs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We've hired Ben for a few different sessions and he was really great with our active Shepherd/Husky, Arnold! Ben is patient, knowledgeable and clear in his directions. He definitely cares about the animals he works with and wants you to be as prepared as possible to carry out the training on your own. We initially thought Arnold was *only* motivated by food, but Ben showed us that Arnold actually has a very high play drive - which can be used as a reward for good behaviour.
