★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is strictly based in my Covid Vaccination Experience. My age group finally opened up so I registered. Everything was flawless. Parking lot attendant told us exactly where to park. Guy at the front door asked everyone the same questions and had them sanitize their hands. From there it is a blur... From the guy that checked us in, to the young lady who answered any of my questions, to the nurses and med staff that gave us our injection. FLAWLESS! As we left, there was someone sanitizing our seats for the next group of people. Only complaint... As you leave 'perhaps' they could have used masking tape to cover the "alarm will sound if door opened"... Someone used clear and it was a touch confusing....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ COVID shot #2 at this location: so much more organized and friendlier experience than the #1 (pop up parking lot site). Signage was clear, people were thoughtful. Very nice location, too. The gardens around the centre are well maintained; calming backdrop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is actually a review of the little tot lot next to the community centre. This is the best playground for little ones! The signage says for ages 2-5. My almost 1 year old had a great time today. The two structures are very much earlier walker friendly. There are also a few things to keep older siblings (3-5) entertained - music equipment, a spinner and an "ant hill" you can put hot wheels cars through.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Poirier Community Centre is a staple in the Coquitlam community. The gardens and covered walkways are fantastic for a relaxing walk with a small child or your dog. The city has done a fabulous job with the flowers and gardens that lead you to the rose garden next door. This is definitely a great place to hang out and wait for your child if they are in hockey, swimming or other sport across the street.
