Brandon was awesome. He replaced our hot water tank a few weeks ago and did a magnificent job. He had to come back to clean out our furnace and fire place. He went over and beyond and if I could give him 10 stars I definitely would. My husband and I have been dealing with Point grey plumbers for years now. Three years ago they came out to sort out a blocked toilet and they replaced the toilets with a Toto toilet which was recommended by the Trevor who is also an expert in his field. It’s wonderful when you know you paying for a job well done , they always get it right the first time. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hot water tank replacement ?? Had contacted Point Grey Plumbing in the morning for installation of new hot water tank. It wasn’t an emergency situation, but they were able to accommodate our needs and had a guy out for the install by early afternoon. Their office called me 45min prior to installer arrival and Brandon arrived in timeframe we were given and was able to get the tank installed in no time at all. Very professional, making sure all the small details were looked after and left everything neat and tidy when complete. 5 star service, would highly recommend their services.

We used Point Grey plumbing to repair our outside sump as well as install a new outside hose bib. Both jobs were done well, friendly staff and logistics and timing as agreed. When the outside hose bib started leaking due to a manufacturing defect, I called them and they sent someone round within 2 days to check out the issue and replaced the defective part - very good service. Would definitely recommend Point Grey Plumbing.

We had a leak in our main waterline from the City to our property. Shut off the water valve and call Point Grey Plumbing & Heating to investigate. I had a very positive experience all the way. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. I was particularly impressed with the plumber Jason N. He was courteous and polite, knowledgeable and patience. He was working with my wife most of the time while I was on a conference call. My wife who have no knowledge of plumbing feel very comfortable dealing with Jason. They quote us a price for the investigation, it was reasonable and the approach Jason took was from the very basic to start rather than multi thousand dollars solution. The job was complete in good time and he clean up the site very well. It is hard to get trades person like Jason who took their job with pride and treat his customers with respect. I will recommend Point Gray to al my friends.

TL:DR It took over four months for Point Grey Plumbing to complete a 30-minute shower repair. The level of communication and professionalism was extremely disappointing and I would not recommend Point Grey Plumbing's services to anybody. SUMMARY We first contacted Point Grey Plumbing in early February 2021 via their online form. We had to follow up a few days later after receiving no communication and was informed that they had not received my initial query. It took over a month and several requests for follow-up (from our end) before they could even provide an estimate for the requested repair. We should have contacted another plumber at this point, but their commercial branch installed the shower in our apartment in the first place, so we thought it would be "better" to stick with them. In mid-April, the plumber finally came and we discovered that they had ordered the wrong part so the repair could not be done. We then had to wait another month for the manufacturer to ship a different part. In mid-May, the same plumber came and we discovered that they ordered the wrong part again. I note that when the plumber arrived, one of the first things he did was convey to my partner that the admin staff I had been dealing with was not with the company anymore. It also seemed like he knew the part was incorrect but came anyway instead of communicating the potential issue to us prior to the appointment. All in all, it came off as quite unprofessional, as he appeared to know the repair would not be completed and was trying to pass the blame to somebody else in anticipation of an unsatisfactory result. The plumber took pictures of the issue before he left, to ensure they ordered the correct part this time. He really should have done this at the first appointment in April. Later that day, somebody from the company ended up calling us and they made promises about expediting service for us and "making it right". The person I spoke with sounded very apologetic on the phone and further interactions with this person were pleasant; however, this in no way excuses the sub-standard service received so far. Communication was acceptable for a few days after this call, but then response times to queries once again became longer and longer. While we continued to wait for the correct part to be delivered, we asked about two more services that we wanted to add to the appointment (since we knew the service time would be short and figured we may as well get some additional home maintenance done to make this whole ordeal more worth it). The reps who we spoke with told us that the plumber could "definitely do" those repairs for us in the same visit. I note that we advised of the parts required, provided details about what steps would need to be done for the additional work, and asked them to inform us if this work could not be done. Today (mid-June), the same plumber arrived for a third appointment and finally fixed the shower issue. However, although we had been advised earlier that Point Grey Plumbing could do the additional requests, the plumber ended up telling us otherwise and the work was ultimately not done as promised. There is clearly a severe lack of communication within the company as the plumber indicated that he was not told about the additional service requests. He also made an offhand comment/complaint about how he was essentially doing the work for free at this point - extremely unprofessional and even offensive, considering how inconvenient the last four months have been for me and my partner due to mistakes and miscommunication from Point Grey Plumbing's end. Later, the plumber told us he would return with additional parts, but never did. We paid for the work in cash, but no receipt for cash was issued at the time of transaction. It's downright sketchy for a company not to require this or have it as standard protocol. They get one star since the shower works now. We will not be using Point Grey Plumbing's services in future and will be actively warning any friends/family who need plumbing services to look elsewhere.

When I called point Grey due to a clogged kitchen sink, the customer support people were very friendly and explained their hourly rate up front. David showed up a few minutes before the actual appointment I had scheduled, which is nice, usually when a company gives me a window, it is closer to the end of the window not the start, so thanks for that!! David was very friendly and knowledgeable, If I do need a plumber again it will be point Grey and I will ask for David. Charge for the first hour not crazy and David was able to get in and out in under an hour!!!

I walked in their office in Cloverdale, Paul was very friendly and he was able to book me within the same day. He also told me the rates upfront. David did an excellent job, he was polite and very professional. The piping of the kitchen sink got clogged and while it was not easy, David didn't quit and was able to fix it in a timely manner. I picked Point Grey because of the good reviews and don't regret it. I am very satisfied with the job done by David and highly recommend Point Grey Plumbing.
