We have used Plumbtech for 20 years but this time was far from satisfactory. We scheduled an appointment a week in advance but when the technicians showed they did not have the materials to complete the work. They estimated the time required and noted the materials they would need. They said someone would call but no one did. We followed up and scheduled another appointment again a week in advance. The bill was for 2.5 hours labour when they had estimated 1hour. The materials charged were a bit high, but they unnecessarily removed $80 worth of copper pipe and took it with them without consent from the homeowner. Finally they only completed 2 of the 3 jobs. We gave them a couple of weeks to review the issues and make it right. Unfortunately they chose to stand by the invoice leaving us with the only option to write this negative review and look for a new plumber.

Purchased an older home in McKellar and Plumtech was recommended but also were willing to come the distance and help us out as we were renovating ourselves in order to get moved in. We gutted the house, moved the kitchen to the opposite side, adding water lines for fridge and dishwasher and discussed a future addition. As a previous builder, I rate their service as top notch and see that they are considered timely, fair and do a great job! We concur!

We had an emergency situation yesterday. Everywhere we called said it would be at least 24hours and needed a deposit to secure an appointment! Not plumbtech!! They were very quick in sending someone over, they understood the urgency. The plumber who came was friendly and professional. He explained what he was doing and looking for, potential causes and everything. He left and I felt confident in what he told me! Followed up with the city to confirm what he had said and everything has been fine since!! AND THEY DIDNT CHARGE ME AN ARM AND A LEG!!!! Great company!!

Fantastic service! I called with an emergency at midnight. The following morning at 8am my tech called as promised and promptly showed up and looked after our problem. Considering the scope of work he had to perform, I was pleased with the cost. I will definitely be calling Plumbtech for all my future plumbing needs. My thanks to your team. Jim

Above & beyond. I had PlumbTech remove & reinstall a faucet & sink drain that had both been replaced under warranty. They responded quickly to my email and were able to squeeze the quick job in fairly fast. Service tech was excellent and professional. The best was staff member Julie, who CLIMBED INTO THEIR DUMPSTER for me to retrieve a piece off my original faucet at the end of the day when I discovered a different part of the faucet was not functioning correctly. She is amazing. Will definitely use for any future plumbing needs.

I am so impressed by the service and compassion of the team at Plumbtech. Two weeks ago I lost the ability to use all of my indoor plumbing due to an extensive main drain blockage and a faulty/old/shoddy indoor plumbing setup. I had already been in touch with another company who did not do the work that was needed and promised in their contract. That company charged me an exorbitant amount, and proposed more work that would not have actually solved the issues. The fact that I fell victim to them was a humiliation, but I was in a very low period due to significant life stress. John and Julie at Plumbtech held space, listening to my story when I called in distress, and dispatched a fantastic crew to solve my issue as soon as they could the next morning. Andrew and Larry were professional, kind, and knowledgeable. They reworked the old system to best meet our needs and took care of the issues caused by the inadequate setup. John and Julie did everything they could to minimize my stress and prevent further challenges for me as I prepared my home to meet our basic needs and receive company from out of town. They kept communicating with me and reassuring me that the work would be done. I am so grateful for the professionalism and care that Plumbtech demonstrated. They turned my distressing situation into one where I felt heard, humanized, and taken care of by professionals. They restored my trust, and I will be a lifelong customer. We needed a 20+yr-old shower faucet cartridge removed and replaced. The guys from Plumbtech arrived on time and got right to work. They fought with the old cartridge for a fair bit of time, but didn't complain at all. They finally managed to coax it out and then installed a new one as well as a new tub spout. Working on decades-old plumbing can not be easy or fun, but they did a great job for us. This is our second experience using Plumbtech and we will definitely make them our first call for any and all future plumbing needs. Great service and quality work every time. Thank you.

Would definitely recommend! Ben & Dylan did an amazing job!! They were friendly and cleaned up once job was done despite of letting them know that they need not bother about it. I had installed shower heads, bidets, bath spouts and a faucet. Ben exactly knew what needed to be done and worked with ease and could see his professional workmanship. Prices were nominal and In future would be happy to avail their services again if anything turns up.
