F	Frank Schaedlich on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Platinum Electric installed a Generac 22 kW whole house backup system in my 90 year old, heritage house. For appearances sake, the transfer panel and both utility runs had to be inside. The gas and electrical runs were each 80-90 feet long and had to go through different parts of the basement. The gas and electrical installation crews were both extremely competent and didn't seem at all fazed by the two foot thick walls. The installation and generator commissioning was completed within a day without a hitch. Pre and post sale support by Mark was excellent. Their quote was reasonable and, unlike some other potential suppliers, was only produced after a detailed on-site visit. I would recommend them if you want to explore the possibility of having a backup generator installed.

He made the 3hr drive to do the site visit, planning and laying out the job for his crews, along with fully explaining how everything was going to work. The unit was ordered and delivered as per the specified time line. The crew came out as per schedule and completed a neat, clean, and flawless install. From tip to toe, a great experience.

Mark, a very knowledgeable, professional person came to our home and took the time to understand our needs, answer all our questions and explain all our options. We felt we were in great hands and we were. Mark responded promptly to any more questions that came up. His team showed up on time and worked diligently all day. They installed the pad, the generator, hooked everything up and tested the unit. They arranged everything, including the ESA inspection and also changed a fuse panel to a breaker panel in our home. They left the premises looking like they had never been there. Everything was cleaned up. Mark called towards the end of the installation to make sure everything was going well. I am so happy we chose Platinum Electrical Contractors. We couldn't have asked for better service. I would highly recommend them.

Mark took the time to fully explain the considerations regarding choice and placement of the unit. Later, he was understanding and helpful when we wanted to change the location due to an arborist’s concern about trenching in a tree’s root zone. Any emailed questions he answered swiftly and completely. It was apparent from the start on installation day that we were in good hands. The crew was knowledgeable, professional, and tidy. At the end of a long day, the electrician demonstrated and described the generator’s workings in detail and answered our questions. Each week when the self-diagnostic runs, I remember Platinum for their unquestionable competence and for being a pleasure to deal with.
