★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Campground attendants were sticklers leaving notes at your site hassling you if you were gone for the day and giving people a hard time about not wearing a helmet while biking. They didn't seem to bother about the site blowing an airborne all weekend starting at 8 in the morning though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely little campground about 3km out of Youbou. We visited a site on the lake shore so had the sound of waves lapping on the beach lulling is into serenity. There's also a number of sites away from the water but nestled within the trees. I'm told it's a first come, first served style as you can't reserve a spot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ok midweek but overcrowded on weekends. If you like city style life... You'll like this. Peace and quiet? Forget it. Great views from the pebble beach. Afternoons are windy so beware if canoeing. No drinking water, no garbage pickup. 18 per night. 20 for beach front packed in like sardines.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This campground is well-spaced out. The outhouses are very clean. The views and easy access to the lake make this one of the most superb rec sites. I will definitely come back!
(The only drawback is that this place seems fairly popular, I saw tp and a ton of garbage left on my site)
Bring water and garbage bags - pack out what you bring!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We try to get here once a year. Love that there are shady spots and first come first serve. Lake was a wonderful way to keep cool on those super hot days. New for us this year is we had to pay 1/2 the camping rate for the second car. Husband and I drove up separately as I worked later on heading out day so it cost us an extra 9 dollars a night. Lesson learnt, we will plan better next time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decent campground with a good amount of trees around most sites. Definitely check out their walk-in sites. There are some great spots. Very near to the Heather Mountain trailhead if you feel like a 20-ish km hike.
