★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was having physiotherapy session for many years with more or less success. As I grew older my problems with the spinal column kept accumulating, especially in the lumbar segment with impact on the sciatic nerves, aggravated by unbalances in the hips. Last summer my lumber pain has become almost permanent, impairing my ability to function and perform routine tasks. Luckily, I was referred by my Orthopedist to Mr. Ariel Desjardins-Charbonneau, manipulative physiotherapist at the Clinique Physioactif in the Complex Sportif Claude Robillard. In six session Mr. Desjardin managed to bring me to quasi-normality, helping me to forget most of the time my lumbar pain and sciatic pain.
What makes Mr Desjardin special is his in-depth knowledge of the human anatomy and his talent to identify the real cause of a given medical condition, following his own thorough assessment and patient’s description, and to recommend the appropriate exercises, always with a twist, making them more efficient than similar “classic” exercises proposed in so many specialty books. Without diminishing his merits, I should mention that the final success depends also on the determination of the patient to follow through with the recommended exercises.
I strongly recommend Mr. Ariel Desjardins-Charbonneau to anyone interested in improving his life quality and enjoying a life without pain.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I tried 2 physiotherapy clinics before Physioactif Claude-Robillard for a lower back & nerves problem. My doctor initially advised me to go to a Physioactif clinic stating that they are essentially the best at what they do but to save some commute I tried closer clinics which ended up being a huge waste of time and money. During my first appointment, my physiotherapist, Ariel, listened to my story and with different maneuvers was able to give me a clear diagnosis and different exercises to help me get through my injury. I saw Ariel a total of 4 times in the last 6 weeks and I can feel that my injury is more than 75% recovered.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am very pleased with the treatment I received from Philippe. I had acute back and leg pain from a fall which made it very difficult to walk. After a few sections with Philippe, the pain was gone and I was able to enjoy the summer. I thought he was a miracle worker!

However, enormous support from Pascal and trying all the exercises he recommended, I feel I am again able to live my life with more confidence. I am really happy to have chosen physioactif and would recommend to anyone looking for a physiotherapy.
