Photocreative is a family-run business offering outstanding customer service and photography products, in-store and online, to professionals and enthusiasts. I've known Jeff for almost 10 years now and I trust his advice and counsel whether I'm buying new, or trading-in used, gear. Jeff's enthusiasm for photography (he's a professional photographer) and his knowledge of gear always makes a visit to Photocreative pleasant and informative. Anyone looking for a knowledgeable, award-winning, authorized dealer of top-of-the-line gear would be remiss if they didn't pay a visit to Jeff.

I’ve know Jeff for over 25 years, back when he was primarily a shooter. He sold me my first digital camera system when I was switching my personal gear over from film, and sold the newspaper I worked for many different digital cameras over the years. When I moved to corporate communications, I was able to keep Photocreative as the supplier of all my work gear because they could provide all the tools required. Always friendly, knowledgeable, and looking at customer needs from the experience of a photojournalist, Jeff has been a great resource for myself and my employers. As my equipment needs have morphed over the decades through the evolution of my tasks, he has kept up with solutions that were a proper fit with the needs and limitations of budgets but delivered the best results possible. I would highly recommend dealing with him as someone who is in tune with manufactures and users, aways suggesting the appropriate tools for the circumstances. Besides that he is a nice guy!

Photocreative is amazing. Jeff and Brenda spare no effort to get you the photo gear you want, and Jeff has a depth of knowledge about how to get the most out of your gear that cannot be found elsewhere in Canada. Jeff's prices are the best and his rock solid relationships with the manufacturers mean that Jeff gets cameras, lenses and accessories that other places struggle to secure. And Jeff doesn't only sell new things. Jeff has used equipment that he has extensively evaluated to ensure it is mechanically flawless. I buy used stuff from Jeff with total confidence. And he will be honest about everything he carries. If you have any problems, Jeff is more than glad to help. Buying from Photocreative means you have Jeff in your corner.

Photocreative is a great camera store that I have been getting all of my equipment at for over 10 years. Jeff has always been able to get what ever I need and he keeps up to date with the fast moving technology. However you can get equipment anywhere, what makes Photocreative really great is Jeff's outstanding customer service. He is always willing to spend time with you and share his vast knowledge of not only equipment but also photographic techniques. I know I can always drop in, give him a call or send him and email and he will have the time to help me out even if I am not planning to buy anything at the time.

Jeff and Brenda are professional, knowledgeable, helpful, honest and fair. I have purchased and traded in a lot of gear and I have always felt that I got good value and fair treatment from them. Jeff is an enthusiastic and experienced photographer with a passion for photography so you can be sure that he is on top of the latest and greatest from software to hardware. I always enjoy my experience at Photocreative!

Photocreative has impressed me so much that I'm taking the time to write this review. A rarity for me. 1st off this is the second instance that I've decided to make a major investment in photography gear. The is the second of both instances that I purchased from Jeff at Photocreative. What is interesting is that 10 years ago I was looking for very hard to find newly released Canon DSLR gear. Jeff was the only supplier in town with inventory and fair pricing. Today I purchased a Leica Q2 from Jeff. Trust me, I looked across North America and there was no stock. As for pricing near best price I seen but again only one with stock. Now on the service level. Jeff took the time off hours to respond to my queries, not knowing if I was just fishing or a serious customer. He was patient and informative. Then when I was ready to buy, he adjust his hours of operation to accommodate my timelines. Lastly, as promised a pristine never opened Q2 in my hands. Again, I had forgotten about my experience at Photocreative until I drove up to the storefront.... only to remember once again the only supplier who met my needs. Thanks Jeff. Going forward, I go straight to you long before any other competitor.

I am a Canon shooter, but looking for a new, lighter camera, a friend directed me to the Fuji X-T4 and to PhotoCreative and its owner, Jeff Chevrier. Recently, I met with Jeff and explained my background, and then got into what I was looking for. What ensued was absolutely what I needed - a very patient, extremely knowledgeable camera expert and someone who was primarily interested in serving my needs and insuring that whatever choice I made would be the perfect one for me. And that's exactly what happened. Jeff and I spent 2 hours going over all the possibilities for a new camera, with a focus (at my request) on the Fuji X-T4. Jeff left me with no doubt that his interest was on me, my needs and my preferences, as well as my level of experience in photography.There was absolutely no pressure to make a quick decision. If you are looking to buy a camera, or looking to simply broaden your photographic knowledge, Jeff Chevrier is the person to speak to.

Note that I have never bought from or sold equipment to Photocreative. This review is based solely on the owner’s lack of professionalism. Jeff is a very friendly individual—but only if you agree to sell your equipment to him with no questions asked. When the quote he provided did not meet my expectations, I politely told him that I would try to sell my lenses independently. This is when Jeff turned from a nice, helpful businessman into a pushy dealer. Jeff continued to send me emails in an attempt to persuade me to sell him the lenses. He told me that there would be "no possible criminals coming to see [my] items" if I were to deal with him and that he could potentially increase his quote if I were to let him know my expectations. So I let him know. His offer was still lower than I was hoping, so I politely thanked him—yet again—and let him know that I was no longer interested. He sent a very bitter email in return, asserting that he did, in fact, offer me the amount I was seeking: “I offered you $3000. Frankly, I don’t know why this is so difficult, I do this all the time with so many people and it just seems so complicated to try to get together on this for some unknown reason.“ The thing is, Jeff never offered me $3,000 for my most recent group of lenses. His best offer was $2,000—and that was on the higher end. Perturbed by his angry response, I thanked him for his time yet again but let him know that his behaviour was unprofessional. Unsurprisingly, he responded unprofessionally: "Yes unfortunately, NEVER found a more complicated, opaque, one-sided, lack of genuine timely response or sense of reasonable goodwill to try to work something out from you." I never signed any documents or made any commitments stating that I would sell my lenses to Photocreative. And yet Jeff felt that I was indebted to him simply because I reached out and asked questions. I’m sure Jeff sells quality equipment and that he has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to photography. But he isn't a pleasant person to deal with if you decide not to settle on his terms.
