About Phobia Auto Repair
If you know Phobia Auto Repair then you know Steve Cusson to be its owner. Steve fell in love with the automotive industry when he worked on his first car, a 1980 Buick Skylark. Steve has been an automotive mechanic for 8 years now. He worked at Canada West Truck Center and then moved over to Cummins Western Canada. His hard work paid off when he won first place in the province and third place in the country for Skills Canada. Steve has had many beautiful cars in the past but he still dreams of a Lamborghini Huracan.

The service was quick and friendly and they made it a comfortable wait by offering to play kids' shows on the TV in the waiting area. Will definitely be returning if I need any other work done!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are not enough stars to rate the superiority of this shop. Huge shout out to Chris at Phobia Auto for his impeccable service. I wanted a second opinion on an issue spotted by a mechanic at a different shop, so I brought my truck in to Phobia and Chris was quick and eager to fit me into his busy schedule. He assessed the issue of the other mechanic and found it to be a minor problem, but noted there were additional issues which were more severe and should be addressed as they posed major safety concerns.
Chris then took me back and showed me how worn down and rusty my break rotors were and how my rear brake backing plates were so rusty they were chipping off. This was something that was easily seen and should have been brought to my attention by the other shop.
From there, Chris provided professional, unbiased, options on what could be done with my vehicle. He was not pushy, and he did not try to make minor issues seem worse in order to obtain more business.
After our discussion, Chris went out of his way to fit me into his schedule in order to have everything fixed by the next day.
The work he did was nearly spot on with the amount that he quoted me, which was fair, reasonable, and far lower than what any other shop had quoted for the same work.
I am so appreciative for Chris at Phobia Auto and would recommend him to anyone looking for a feasible, reliable, and trustworthy mechanic.

I dropped off my Porsche with a long list of issues and these guys investigated and repaired each issue perfectly and on budget. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Brought my vehicle in for a inspection got a part installed they said needed to be done 5 minutes after leaving the shop the part fell out. I thought if I brought my vehicle back they would fix it properly but to my surprise they stuck me with another huge bill and the worst part was it was still having problems they made up a bunch of lies about what it was I had enough and brought it to another mechanic shop just to tell me it's the part they installed for the 2nd time. Go anywhere but here Steve is the owner and he's extremely shady to the point other shops are calling him out on his shady work.

The sales specialist at the front desk has gone to bat for us many times and intelligently solve the problem, no fuss, no complaints and no arguments. Good lord, they are knowledgeable nor afraid to tell the Insurance guys that certain things are covered and that they need to man up. Saved us lots of time, headaches and money! Steve, save a seat on that golf tourney and concert for me this year!
