★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's an alright park for what it is. Although it tends to get saturated as it's not well drained, it's a nice spot to let your pup off leash to run around. Chain Link fencing with a path to the water across from the park if your pup gets muddy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good place to let the pup's to run and have fun. Other pet owners are quite considerate.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The dog park is great. Our husky/shepherd loves getting to run around with other dogs and the space is ample and well suited to its role.
The only negative we've had is when the odd dog is over aggressive and its owner won't deal with it. We've had to leave to protect our dog.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No signage anywhere near parking, no water station , long walk in from parking on Ashburnum. Can park behind the no frills on Lansdowne (McDonald's, but that's a longer walk. There's more facilities for people, 2 shelters, 1 picnic table, then there are for dogs. Ok park.. but come on people..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is for dogs so gets a star and it's off leash so gets another star. Rather small, rectangular and lacking features that keep dogs' minds engaged. One tree. It's OK but compared to others I've visited, it's below par.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was hard to find. Google maps led me into a nearby residential area and then said I had arrived. Nope. I could see it in the map, but there was no access from where I was. Eventually found it. Of course this more a problem with Google maps than the dog park itself.
The dog park was adequate, but small compared to some I've been at. It is basically a fenced off field. Didn't get to stay long (received a call and had to leave) but will be back again when we're in the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This park needs some TLC. Usually there is nobody else there when we visit and I can see why. All of the gates between the parks are broken. None of the latches work. There is nothing but open space and you have to walk across an icy path to get there. Very slippy in the winter. In the 2-3 times we have seen other people at the dog park, my dog has been attacked by others. No apology. The owners rushed off. It is one of our only off leash options for dogs though so where else can we go?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to the park today with two dogs (mastiff mix and husky mutt) and they had a BLAST, but mostly because of the friendly vibe with people and over twenty dogs playing - but only in the largest area with a picnic shelter. My dog had lots of social options to choose from, and there were enough spots for him to turn from the action and take a break. That said, this park is WAAY better frozen with snow and ice than in the summer, when poor drainage in the large middle area make boots and splash pants a must. My dog enjoys the mud, but it's not for the faint of heart. All in all, we are grateful for this park. We enjoy the walk on the path to the site. The parking is ample. A small investment in play structures (and maybe a large investment in drainage) would make this good park a GREAT park.
