★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place and I learned lots about my trade while planting trees in the PRF! ! Although I believe the research was some sort of psychological bio warfare experiment with bugs lol and the constant canon and machine gun fire in the not so distant background made it feel like we were in over our heads. Made for great stories though and hey what doesn't kill you ;) beautiful forest with lots of diversity and heritage...been there doing there thing for about 100 years now!!! And I got to be an addition to another chapter of wonder that forest will fuel and cure! Thank you PRF for the glimpse into both the past and the future!! Cheers to at least 100 more years!! Saw a baby black bear, few moose, tons of frogs, toads, snakes, worms, dragonflies, fungus, fern, moss, flowers and different plantations of trees over the years!! What life and excitement lie within that rich forest soil....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Many KM of trails. Biking, hiking, fishing and swimming in summer, Skiing and snowshoeing in the winter. Public boat launch with many lakes (Some sesonal). Many trails are perfect for off leesh dogs. Just about anyone you run into is most likely another friendly outdoorsy person.
