★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I needed to give my small dog, who can be quite aggressive, eye drops 3 times a day. I was being bit and could not get the drops in. I called the store asking if they had muzzles, which they do. Lorraine and Shay called me back and explained over the phone how to wrap my small dog so that he cannot move, and then administer the eye drops. I tried it and it worked! No biting, no squirming, and he actually was extremely relaxed. This was a life saver for me and my dog, if I could not get the eye drops in he probably would lose his eye, now he has a chance to heal. It may not sound like a big deal but it is a really big deal to me. I am forever appreciative to both these ladies. The fact that they cared enough to call me and help me, I just really can't believe it. I HIGHLY recommend this business and I will not shop for pet supplies any where else. Keep up the great work! Scotty sends his love and kisses to both of you!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Second time coming to this location a few weeks ago. Came from a long road trip went to go wash my pup around 530pm walk in and was told I can’t wash my dog cause there is other dogs getting their paws trimmed and to wait 10 min. went back outside waited well over 20 min called the store to see if it’s almost time for my pup to get his bath the girl said soon . Waited another 15 minutes outside, a girl came outside asked me what shampoo I wanted so they can prep it for me and that they are almost done with the toe trimming. Waited another 15 min at this point I walked back in and asked if I can wash my dog it’s been a long day for him and the worker responded with the worst attitude I’ve ever heard from an employee. Gave my dog a quick bath cause now there was a line inside, didn’t even dry him off, go to the till to pay and no associate at the counter , then the associate after 10 min finally comes and started doing a dog tag and all I wanted was to just pay quickly and leave. I will not be back at this location and will gladly drive the extra few minutes to the Reenders location where the workers go above and beyond for their customers and the animals that walk in!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've always been a supporter of Pet Valu Plessis but yesterday, I left with a very sour taste for them. I came in at 8:10pm last night (I checked google, facebook and the website to confirm hours) for a dog wash. When I got there the staff was already closing up shop. I has mentioned that I came in for a dog wash and I was told that they already had cleaned it for the night and it was closed. No where on the site or even on the door does it mention anything about the dog wash closing an hour early. I was very disappointed and still am.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is Amazing! I don't have my own pets, but I went here to buy my Grandma some things for her cat. She lost everything in a house fire and at check out, they gave my Grandma a gift bag of toys for her cat. You feel the love in this business! They are a genuine group of people.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great shop with friendly staff. I've been purchasing all kinds of items here for years, be it for dogs, cats, birds, you name it. But this comment is about the recent contest I happened to win. The prize was a complete Harley Davidson bike cleaning package. I had promised to send a picture of my bike in Arizona after using the kit so here it is. I strongly suggest that you participate in the contests put on by this Pet Valu.
