★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This parkette has been subject to complaints from residents next to the park in regards to noise and loitering. Some suggest park was built without local input and should be move. City is arguing residents had been informed and would result in additional cost around $300,000 to relocate. The areas to the west and north along Robinson Creek are conservation lands and cannot be developed (must be in naturalized state). Suggestions to move it to Major Mackenzie Drive have been too far and too close to traffic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This parkette was opened during August 2018. It is quite small even for a parkette but at least it's within walking distance. We do not need to drive, that saves gas and it's convenient. It is a sand park too. The sand is quite new, fairly fine, not as the older ones with coarser sand. The swing is enough. One for baby one for older kids. Also the parkette includes a slide and some basic music play like the one at Angus Glen. However, one good asset is that it faces a big open area, which attracts lots of birds. There are lots of birds chirping and this is very relaxing.
