★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They use lard instead of butter on the sandwiches in the winter because they think that it will fatten people up and keep them warmer in the winter. The price is decent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place offers free food to whoever needs it. It’s usually a soup, a sandwich and a small dessert. Most of the people who come here to have a free meal are junkies, homeless people and/or fruit pickers; sometimes the junkies can be harassing so be careful.
The food is acceptable, they change the meal every day, so if you go regularly you will never eat the same meal two days in a row.
The people who work/contribute there are mostly elder people, with a very kind and positive attitude.
If you want, you can take a couple of sandwiches or pieces of bread to go, depending on how much food they have left.
