Penny's has been around for a very long time and is an integral part of Blackstock and the surrounding area. Ownership has changed a couple of times during it's history serving as a local post office and then with the latest owner as a local LCBO and Beer Store which is extremely popular everyday of the week. Although as a separate entity renting space from Penny's is a Pharmacy called Wellness Shield. Penny's carries some of your every day groceries like Milk, Bread and Eggs. They also have a selection of frozen food like pizza and TV Dinners and of course Kawartha Dairy ICE CREAM. They also have a big selection of snacks, drinks and cold pop. If your in the area, pop in and say hi to Ken and his sister and maybe grab yourself an Ice Cold Slushy. ? ? ? ? ?? ? ? ? Have yourself a great day everyone. ?tony?

Julie, Ken and Connie are very friendly and helpful. You're treated like long lost family every time you enter the store. There's a wide variety of items that makes this a true convenience store.

Very busy place. Parking can be a challenge sometimes but you don't have to wait long. Great variety of grocery items an LCBO and Beer store. The owners are very nice friendly people. Staff are friendly and helpful too. Great store !!
