★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Took a week to tell me they couldn't rent me a unit. Seems standard for most of the property managers in the Comox Valley. Could careless about getting the rental but being informed in such a slow manner is such a rapid marketplace. Not a pleasant experience in the slightest.

For the past few years I’ve encountered rudeness, dishonesty, and lack of communication on their end. It’s too bad considering I used to recommend them to people who were looking to rent, or were looking for a company to help manage their rental properties.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible rental company. DONT RENT FROM THEM. Super rude and belittling customer support even towards a long term tenate. Never helpful with building issues. Especially for parking. DONT RENT FROM PENNYLANE. Camping full-time would be Less of a headache. SHOUT OUT to the office staff for being the rudest ladies in the valley! CONGRATULATIONS PENNYLANE YOU'RE TERRIBLE!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After reading some comments - recent and several years old - I must add my own experience with all the Staff at Penny Lane, and the Owner(s), over the past 14 years. I do not concur with any of the 1-star narratives at all, and the lady at the front counter has been one of the friendliest people I have ever encountered, in person or on the phone. I see the other agents for an annual inspection of my rental, and they have always been professional and very courteous - as well as getting to know them a little bit as nice people, too. In conclusion, this is the best run Property Management firm that I have yet encountered and, if as a client you are reasonable and willing to treat the rental property with care as if it is your own, then you will very likely enjoy a long tenancy.
