T	Tracey Flaig on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a nice spot for our first adventure. It was a clean green site, firepit was big, washrooms/showers were nice and clean. The gentlman who looks after the grounds came by and welcomed us. I think this is s great campground overall. Thank you!

A	ASH on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Booked this campground for the May long weekend, but could not travel due to leakage problem in my RV. Requested the Public works department of Penhold (operator of the Park) to cancel the booking and provide refund, but the person incharge of the place refused to cancel booking due to some unreasonable policy. Apprarantly they need 72 hours notice for cancellation. Even though I had booked the site only 48 hrs prior to travel. I tried my best to explain the situation and requested the incharge to make an exception and cancel the booking on compassionate grounds. But, the person incharge is all about money-making and policies without even understanding the difficult situation that a customer is going though. I asked for help in an unavoidable situation and all that the person incharge could do for me was to enforce their stringent policy which does not allow her to help in any way. Will never book this place again. There is no manager to take proper decisions and only way to basically reach out to operators of the campground is by email which will be replied by the incharge based on availability during work hours of PWS from Monday to Friday only. What a pathetic customer service.
K	Kim Mudge on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an amazing campground! We needed a place to stay for 3 weeks on short notice as the one we booked lied to us about extra charges and security. Brian, the caretaker was incredible. He helped with everything. The one thing this park doesn’t have is wifi and he actually offered to share his. So impressed with the sites, services and Brian! This is a great place to stay.
D	Dave Johnston on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a relatively new, town owned RV Park with gravel roads and newly planted trees. There are a good variety of site sizes, up to 78’ in length. The water and electricity worked well and continuously. One feature that we liked, however we found that others did not, was the ability to make all park arrangements online. The website filters the RV Sites by size to show you which sites are available that will accommodate your rig. Photos and dimensions of the available sites are provided. You then select and book your site. The RV Park is adjacent to the local Rec Centre, however it was closed due to COVID when we were there. You will need to drive for pretty much anything else that you want from this park.

(3 days) I realize now I could have dry camped at the rodeo grounds but I needed a shower and prefer hookups. Clean quiet, Safe and 10 min from the rodeo grounds. Couldn’t be happier. I too liked the online booking as I’m from the states.

While the trees have a lot of growing to do, the sites are appropriately sized, level, and fully serviced. They're doing everything they can to make campers feel welcome and ensure they have all amenities. A beautiful FREE shower and laundry facility helps to wash away grit from a day of fun. About 6 minutes from Red Deer's Gasoline Alley, this is a great, accessible, community campground. Poor reviews are likely due to later than expected grand opening date.
S	Stacy Smith on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This campground is a little hidden gem, for sure!!! Although there isn't a ton to "do" at the camp site, there is a park not far away. Very close to all amenities. VERY clean! Has a shower facility and laundry at no cost. Very clean campground. Nice view of the fields and a little water reservoir that makes for nice pictures! Overall, a great little place to visit!
