Great service at the reception. Clearly marked packet awaited to be picked up. Free parking on-site. Insurance services offered for over a century. Prominent landmark of downtown Brampton.

after 50 years of covering my fathers cottage/home and no significant claim peel has dropped his insurance they take the money for 50 years look what you get no respect for long time customer your just a cash cow to them find someone else !!!!!!!!!!

Worse place to deal with! Doesn't return my calls, they don't answer their phones AND they are taking $ out of my account when I don't even have the car! DO NOT deal with these people!

Despite both our cars being parked in our driveway the majority of the year due to COVID, this company refused to offer any discount to its clients. Will be switching as soon as our policy is done.

Interesting to note how many concerns there are regarding service and pricing for this mutual insurer. As a Peel Mutual policy holder, you can ask lots of interesting questions regarding their cost structure. How are agents and brokers compensated? In addition to commission on premium what other forms of entitlement do they receive? Your local director is also a cost centre. Why not ask how are Peel Mutual's directors compensated and how does that compare to their peers? What is their entertainment and conference budget (pre-COVID), how are directors qualified, how many directors are certified? This is your mutual insurance company and you should know how they spend your money.

Worst insurance experience ever with their Broker Donna Shafer and management. Over 2 months speaking with them asking for a rental insurance quote to finally cancel in frustration which they also haven't answered me back about. They don't answer for quotes, history, information regarding policies, anything. They sign you up and you can't get ahold of them after. Would give 0 stars if that was an option. Save your self the head ache and use another company majority of reviews are bad for a reason

I had Peel Mutual for approximately 8 months on my property. On purchasing this property it was agreed that the oil tank was to be removed which definitely was my intention once the tank was empty. I was never notified that this was to be done by a certain date. I requested a gas line be put in at this property and of course because of "COVID" was given a 5 week delay. Not long after this an opportunity came up in another province and I took it putting my home on the market. Knowing I was not going to be there after the 5 week delay I decided to get a new oil tank. Of course nothing happens quickly these days and the HVAC company also gave me the run around. Now Peel has decided to cancel my insurance for "non-complaince" on October 20th. My closing date on the property is October 28th. Even though I paid for the entire year upfront Peel was unwilling to even consider extending the policy cancellation 8 days. People are getting screwed left, right and center these days because of COVID, you would think, no HOPE, that anyone anywhere would have a little compassion. I will never recommend Peel to anyone.
