★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a cool experience! We pulled into the parking lot for the park and met 3 CBP officers. One, a crossing agent, walked us to thebarch, gave all kinds of great stories and history, points of interest and what not to do.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Canadian side of the park is closed. Presumably because of COVID? So it's a bit underwhelming. You can go a few feet past the arch and then there are signs saying CLOSED.
The US side is open however, so Canadians park in the neighborhood and walk into the little park to visit US friends and family.
The idea is so sweet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very well kept park. Very open and spacious! Parking on the Canadian side is a big pain as the parking lot isn't open, so you have to park in the residential streets. Get there early if you don't want to walk far to get to the park. Make sure to bring identification, because the border guards will check it before you return to your country.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was a very cool place to visit! We can now say we visited all 4 corners of the US on the mainland. As well as AK, and HI! We are a Geocaching family and love to travel and explore! It was raining hard. But we ran out to the Arch to grab some photos.
It was awesome to stand on the border between US and Canada!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worst experience ever going across Canada. Make sure you download the app and upload your information before heading to the border because if you don't do that they won't make you go back into the states download the app filled it up and then get back in line it was a nightmare for us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Utterly gorgeous and serene, the views of the water make this park a must visit if you're in the area! As a bonus, you can experience having one foot in Canada and the other in the United States. Highly recommended ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited this park today for the first time in 2 years ( thanks to the pandemic restrictions) No police checking i.ds this time.
Saw the different beauty of this park when its snowing. Just beautiful! Sun was shining and we enjoyed watching the kids and adults having a lot of fun in the snow. Sledding, tobogganing down hills whatever you call it? was so fun.
Saw few people walking to cross the border and dragging their suitcases in the snow was another story.
Love South Surrey!
