This company is unbelievably incompetent in almost every way. They managed to not do anything right. They’re uncommunicative and lazy. We’re actually switching our insurance company just because this is who they sent.

I can say I've never left a bad review on Google this is my first. I know it easy for some people to just slap a bad review on Google. This is the most terrible experience ive had with a company and customer service. I tried to give the owner David a chance to resolve this. He is not a man of his word and lots of false promises by his staff. Jennifer was the only person that was kind and seemed like she cared. I will remove this if anything changes.

Abysmal service. Poor communication, awful customer service. Unorganized, many of our personal items were lost, misplaced or returned broken. Takes weeks to get a hold of anybody, and we were told we would be charged if we wanted to access any of our belonging before the final return date. Very disappointed. This has been a lengthy, stressful and unpleasant experience to say the least.

Initial appointment was ignored. Work finally done but no attempt to clean up after the job. The only contractor I’ve dealt with that did not clean up or even attempted to clean up after the job. Worked under the sink and left all the sawdust for us to vacuum. Left sealant on our kitchen mat.

A leak in our fish tank went undiscovered for several days. By the time we realized what was happening the parquet hardwood flooring was already starting to warp. David from Paul Davis Restoration came by within a couple hours and set up a drier. Three days later the hardwood floor had returned to its former shape. Couldn't be happier! Saved a bunch of money and a whole lot of inconvenience. Thanks!

If Gore Mutual sends their listed company (Paul Davis restoration), refuse them! They file exaggerated large dollar amount claim for a temporary gutter backup leak (so they claim), and report mould damage; knowingly insurance will deny your claim for this maintenance issue, they’ll immediately email you a work authorization to pressure you to sign and you’ll end up covering their bill. Marci came to take pictures of gutter from the ground, no pics from/on roof but came to her conclusion for cause of water escape; my hired gutter cleaner sent me pics of missing shingles not reported by Paul Davis restoration as they didn’t do a proper thorough inspection. Gore Mutual believed what was initially reported to decline claim as maintenance issue. After Marci’s inspection, the same day they immediately without authorization put in blowers to bill you for tool rentals, then email a work authorization in attempt to bind you to work contract and cutoff communication. Multiple attempts to get a copy of inspection reported to insurance but no reponse from Paul Davis restoration and no Marci returning calls. I had to get the report forwarded to me from Gore Mutual. This was around Thanksgiving 2020.

Great place to work. A team of people practicing continuous improvement every day while providing care to people in their time of need.

My dad lives on Sumas flats and was one of the many victims to the flooding these past months. Paul Davis restoration company quoted over 16k in work done on my Dads flooded home. My dad fought the charges as quoted machines weren't used, carpet not removed, rooms untouched. They have resubmitted after getting the insurance company involved. Revised quote just over 6k. STILL adding services that were not done on his home. STILL including thousands of dollars in fees for things not preformed by the company. One of the services being water removal, which was all done by my father. During the inspection to revise the quote, the supervisor, Myles, said to my dad that they know that water removal was not done by the company. On top of my father losing his belongings, the damage to his home and health, and the stress of the situation already, he is having to fight these cheats taking advantage of those in these situations. Do not allow this company to work for you or your family. EDIT TO REPLY TO RESPONSE: I appreciate your response, but there still seems to be some confusion, as that's not the case. There was an estimate, and then there was an invoice. The estimate was actually for MUCH higher than this. The estimate, which makes sense, is not what I'm referring to with anything here. The invoice, which was submitted to the insurance company, is the one that we're referring to. My dad had to go through it multiple times, and it was even admitted by your supervisor, Myles, that things weren't done that were on the invoice. Machines that were not even brought in were on the invoice as used. (Edited to add: The invoice had to be amended 3 times, as dad kept bringing things up over and over that you hadn't actually done. Each time he had to review it again, only to find more things... There's absolutely NO way he should be having to do this during a natural disaster.) The invoice that you issued "for the work completed" is what had things that you never did on it. It also appears that this is not the first time it's happened, as I can see from the multiple reviews on your Google page. What can you do in the future to prevent this from happening again, as it seems to be a pattern? What can you guarantee will change in your processes?
