The worst customer service ask for help try to show what ballon the little one wanted and they all stand there like come in so they finally make there way down to where I’m at show the lady the ballon and she says 1.5 wait to blow it up when there’s 3 employees standing doing nothing couldn’t believe it cause you got to order your balloon a year in advance and maybe you might get it

I was browsing in Party City last night and had the most lovely experience with one of the women working - I believe her name was Savannah. She was so friendly, helpful, and genuine. The lineup was fairly long, but she didn't get flustered, annoyed, or short with anyone, and was able to chat while being efficient. Give this girl a raise!

Love going here for party stuff. Yes you'll pay a little more than sourcing every little thing from multiple places, but the amount of time I saved by having everything all in one place was easily worth it. Not only that, they had suggestions for things that I didn't even consider. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. I will absolutely be back. 1 year later update: still a fantastic place for party supplies. My son wanted a Ninja Turtle/Super Mario/Paw Patrol birthday and I was able to get everything for it in one place

Very cool party store. Lots of items for every event. Steady flow of customers that seem happy. It was enjoyable to stroll through and see. Prices seemed fair, nothing crazy. Staff were friendly and they sell a lot of balloons! Easy parking for free. There really had a huge selection of party items for your needs. I was impressed!

I went to this location a month and a half ago with my birthday girl to pick out birthday decorations. I got a set of balloons for her that we planned to get filled at a later date. I asked the cashier at the time of purchase if I could come back to get them filled and they said "Yeah no problem." Full stop. Great, I'll be back the day of the party. I show up today to get my balloons filled. I stand in line waiting to have a conversation with someone. Once I finally spoke with someone I received the worst customer service I've ever received. It was truly appalling. The lady asked if I was there to pick up an order. I explained the above story. She immediately became snappy with me, saying they require pre-orders to get balloons filled. Thats fine, whatever, but no one told me that when I bought the stupid balloons. If the cashier had told me that when I bought them, I would have went this morning. I explained this to the lady running the balloon thing. Instead of apologizing that none of their employees advised me that I'd require an appointment to fill a balloon, she asked me what time my party was at and said, "Well you should have pre-ordered." At which point I yelled back at her, that I would have come this morning if someone would have told me that was even necessary, so I guess my seven year old will just have to be extra sad on her birthday, thanks. When I asked a cashier if there was somewhere else I could get them filled, they suggested I purchase a $50 helium tank. I'm not paying a $50 surcharge because their employees failed to tell me pertinent information. I work in customer service. I understand that they have a system, and stuff happens. But maybe make sure all your employees are aware of the system so this doesn't happen. I should not have been scolded and dressed down by an employee because I didn't make an appointment to buy my air. So I went to the Party City at Canadian Tire, where the lady gave wonderful service. It took 10 minutes to fill my balloons. Thanks Canadian Tire!

I and a few other people received very poor customer service today at this location. I was at the store earlier this week to pick up things for my son's birthday today. I also booked a number helium balloon and discussed with the lovely lady at the check out about getting additional latex balloons filled with helium to add to the numbered balloon. I was given cost and told to bring it in on the day off. We arrived for the booked time of 2.30pm only to be told by a lady coordinating customers that we couldn't get our balloons filled until 5pm. We don't accept drop ins, you have to bring it earlier she says. I explained that the information was not relayed to us when we were in store on Tuesday. Her response was not an apology for the miscommunication or misunderstanding but rather that I could purchase a helium tank and go do it myself. The Lady shrsd of me even said "are you asking me to return the balloons I purchased then, ". The store worker just shrugged her shoulders.i will not be patronizing this store ever again. Luckily we were able to get help at the party city desk in Canadian Tire. She didn't even think to suggest that location to us as an alternative.

3 weeks ago I went to Party City for the first time, as I wanted to get Helium Balloons for my son's 18th birthday. He absolutely loved his balloons, and what amazed myself and my son, is that his balloons are still in his room, with air in them. It lasted so long, longer than what we expected. I am definitely going back there for my daughter's 6 year birthday.

I’m giving it 1 star because I value experience over what a store actually has. To preface, we live on an acreage north of the city so coming here is quite a trek for us. Every time I have come in the past, I have always been treated poorly by the young girls behind the check out. They’re quite short-tempered with me and act as if I should know the answer whenever I had a question or two. When it came to balloons, there is always a huge queue even on weekdays. However, I kept going back because it had one of the best selections in the city. My daughterβ€˜s birthday is just around the corner, so this time I sent my husband and children to get party supplies. Not saying anything about my experiences in the past, he texted me from the store saying how rude the employees are and how he has to make an appointment to fill up a balloon. Because they don’t plan on staying in the city over the next four hours, they won’t be getting balloons this time. It’s not the end of the world, however it is a bit ridiculous. Why are there appointments for balloons? This isn’t a hair salon or doctor’s office. Seeing how it’s not just me that leaves having had a negative experience with the employees, we have decided to not shop here anymore. Amazon it is!
