★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a beautiful place to spend the day picnicking and splashing with your kids.
They test the water frequently so you can feel safe bringing little ones.
The only downside I see is that the water isn’t very deep so many people want to go past the buoy line which isn’t allowed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very small, yet cozy, beach inside of Parc de la Gatineau. Surprisingly, at least considering how great the weather was (on 15/07/20), it was not crowded at all.
The sand was extremely soft and the water was super clear! Although, if you're taller than an average-height ten year-old, the highest the water will get is below breast-level (which doesn't make it any less fun).
There was even a canoe/kayak rental service with really good rates.
Overall, a beautiful and calm beach great for families and pretty much anyone who doesn't mind it being small. I highly recommend it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great beach to go to during a wkday. We went on a Sunday and although it wasn't too busy in the morning, got really crowded by lunch. We had to leave as we aren't yet fully vaccinated. Water is clear and mostly clean. It's not a large beach but sufficient room if you go on days it's not crowded. Picnic tables and volleyball in the back area and bathrooms are very clean.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very small beach inside Gatineau park. We arrived early to go on a hike and there was ample parking and it wasn't very busy. By the time we returned the beach was crowded and the parking lot was full with many people waiting for a spot. The parking for a few hours cost $12. Beautiful setting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful quiet small beach. Too small if it is crowded you can’t find a spot to sit. Water is clean and clear 30 min drive from downtown Ottawa . Not much around it , there is a kayak rental near by 2 hours for 29$. There is a life guard.
