Jeff Palmer has always gone above and beyond for me. I can call him on his personal phone at anytime and he is always there to help even at last minute policy changes. I have been with Palmer Salmon Insurance for many years for my car insurance. This latest interaction was to see if they could get me house insurance as well because I just bought a new home. The Broker I worked with was Anita Derochie, and she was absolutely amazing. Anita could see that I was completely overwhelmed, so she told me to give her a brief idea of what I was looking for and told me to just go do some other things that needed to be done and leave it up to her. She was able to get me house insurance through the same people that insure my car, she filled out all the paperwork and completed everything, all I had to was sign. It took a huge load off of me. Have always and will continue to recommend Palmer Salmon Insurance to anyone and everyone. Thank you !!!

Only problem is I just wish they would call me instead of emailing me saying they did try to call me and they never actually did call at all

I came in on Sept 10, 2020 inquiring about auto insurance. I've never insured a vehicle myself before and I was hoping for some guidance, as it is a very confusing and daunting process. The receptionists where very kind in giving me an Auto Quote Request paper, which I filled out and was then put in contact with a broker. The broker came out and rudely asked me a few questions about a part on the request that I had filled out incorrectly (I thought my learners permit would be included in the number of years Ive had my license, it is not) and told me he would be right back. He came out with a quote scribbled on the side of my Quote Request, and started to walk away. I was confused by this as I had seen another lady brought into a brokers office right before, and I figured I would get the same treatment. I was rightfully confused and asked "Okay so what is this number? Collision? Liability? Im confused.", because he explained absolutely nothing. I asked if we could speak in his office, because I believe its pretty unprofessional to just throw me a random number in lobby without explaining anything further. He rudely escorted me to his office (I say rudely because he pretty much ran there, and told me right this way in really strange, rushed fashion). He explained that no one would sell me collision insurance because I haven't been insured for 5 years, which is simply not true because I then went to 3+ other insurance companies who said "Of course we'll sell you collision insurance, if you're paying for it why wouldn't we". Which makes a lot of sense to me, none of the other places had heard of that 5 year rule. He only answered direct questions and didn't offer any information even though I was clearly confused. The only time he smiled was when I said "okay thank you" and left. Like he was just happy to see me go. I think he was so dismissive because I'm 20, and he didn't think I was serious. But he didn't seem busy so I don't know why he wouldn't chase a potential lead. The quote was higher than everywhere else I went too, so needless to say I will not be giving this place my business. Anyways, this guy just seems like he sucks at selling insurance, so I'm not sure why they employ him. Maybe the other brokers are better. Like I said, everyone else I talked to seemed friendly enough. This guy just really really sucks at selling insurance, and talking to people.

I’ve been with Palmer Salmon since I was 18 years old and haven’t had any problems at all. Ryan Baker has been helping me lately and he got me a great rate for my car and when I call to get something done it’s never a problem. Strongly recommend this office!
