Palliser Orthotic & Prosthetic Clinic continues to develop a reputation for the highest quality of patient care facilities in the field of Orthotics & Prosthetics.
Prior to 1997, the clinic was open part time and serviced through a Lethbridge office. Today with a very dedicated and caring staff, our clinic services the Medicine Hat Area 5 days per week from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
The resident clinician, Greg Smith C.P.O (c) has a dual certification in both Orthotics (bracing) and Prosthetics (artificial limbs). With 28 years of experience (1986 to present), and previous involvement in the field of mechanical engineering, Greg offers a wealth of technological and mechanical knowledge as well as a compassionate approach to patient care.
Certified Orthotist Todd Saucier C.O. (c) R.T.P.O. (c) entered the field of orthotics and prosthetics in 1984. Since that time he has received his qualification as a nationally registered technician in orthotics followed two years later by his national registration in prosthetics.
Todd has worked as a technician in both prosthetics and orthotics for 12 years. Following that Todd went back to school and received entrance to the prosthetics and orthotics program at British Columbia Institute of Technology and received his diploma in clinical methods of prosthetics and orthotics in 1998. Todd went on to become a nationally certified clinical orthotist in 2001.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best foot orthoses ever! A big difference at this place is the fact that these folks are certified orthotists rather than, say, occupational or physiotherapists making your foot orthotics. Your exam is going to be much more thorough with a greater knowledge base behind it. Your foot orthotic will be a higher quality device.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I fell and damaged my knee. I went to two hospitals and saw three doctors plus an orthopedic surgeon who looked at my xrays but didn't speak to or examine me. The orthopedic surgeon gave me an appointment to see him in 10 days and the name of a special brace (splint) which I was to get at this clinic. I didn't think it was necessary to get another brace (splint) because I already had one from Swift Current hospital which they sold me (that's right sold me). At this clinic I saw Todd Saucier who fitted me with the proper splint, He then proceeded to give me more valid information than all the doctors I saw in the past two days. It is too bad that the Orthopedic surgeon could take two minutes to tell me what was wrong with my knee but thank God I saw Todd who took the time to give me the explanation I needed to quiet my fears. Very pleased with the service and treatment at this clinic - highly recommended!

Initially thought highly of these guys but they were all so rude to me and my family when we were there last. Todd and the reception lady were so incredibly rude and defensive. When there was minor miscommunication they both got defensive and started to treat me with disrespect. It was so bad that I had to leave crying because I couldn't handle them coming at me when I just mis understood something so small and my parents had to finish the transaction.
Customer service is about customer satisfaction. Even if you cannot solve their problem directly you must help them find another way to solve it or at the BARE MINIMUM help your customer understand WHY they are wrong. Never go on the defensive and ignore their concerns.
This could have been super easy to resolve but instead it ended in tears and this negative review.
I'd rather drive to Calgary to get my brace fixed than drive 10 minutes to this place.
Seriously the worst customer experience I've ever had.
