Dr. Glenda Orr
Dentist & Practice Owner
Dr. Glenda Orr graduated from the college of dentistry at the University of Saskatchewan in 2003. She was the third indigenous graduate in the programs history. She opened her practice “Packham Avenue Dental” in 2003. Her love of people and dentistry has taken her on dental missions to Guatemala and the Philippines; while these were special trips she loves to travel for leisure and has been to Denmark, Thailand, Iceland, Hawaii and on many trips to Mexico and the Caribbean. Besides travelling, her attention outside of the clinic is focused on her grandson Leo, her adult children Sonia, Jordan and Theo as well as painting, horse riding, boating, camping and skiing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ my dad got a tooth pulled and they “forgot” to take the gauze out of his incision and it started rotting in his mouth. He stayed like that for 2 weeks and even went back to the office twice where they just gave him antibiotics. He ended up having to go to Prince Albert where a doctor pulled the gauze out and he had instant relief. Let me tell you though, I’ve never seen my father in so much pain in my life!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had terrible pain in my gum for days to the point I could not sleep nor eat well. Dr. Orr without hesitation booked me in to have my tooth checked and placed me on antibiotics and offered advice on what to do. Forever grateful for that, highly recommend!

The entire office was very up-to-date with modern equipment and it has such a pleasant environment. I had a great experience and will be coming back regularly. One of the best!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had two teeth taken out the same time. I was in pain. I asked, the dentist for a prescription for PAIN MEDICATION, WHICH IS MY RIGHT, and he hesitated to write me a prescription. The dentist said, "I can write one, there's no refills on it." I had taken the prescription and never went back to this dentist office, again!
My parents, siblings and I have been going to this dentist for years! As a First Nation Organization, you'd think the organization would be nonjudgmental and not stereotype their own people. I'm quite upset about this, still. Regardless of education, you do not treat people like addicts- you focus on resolving the pain! I work in the human service field too, with NO ADDICTIONS.
Such a shame, I would love to come back. I love supporting First Nation Organizations and seeing them succeed, but lack of empathy like this, loses customers to the Western Organizations.
